Hi Guys'n'Gals,

Can anyone please tell me where the best place is to send or check e-mails in WDW, we tried to send one one time at EPCOT but it didn't work, Idon't think we'll be doing Disney quest this time so that one is out,

Any info would be appreciated,

Ok, I think you only have two other onsite choices....

The first, is that apparantly internet kiosks have/are being introduced into all the parks and resorts (sightings have been made...). How easy these will be to find I'm not sure, but I'm sure Guest Relations would be able to point you in the right direction. I believe the cost to use them is 25c a minute with a $2 minimum.

The other alternative is more expensive, but could possibly be a bit more comfy to use than a kiosk (ie you'd get a computer, a mouse and a seat) and that is at any of the Convention Resorts - they all have business centres. So the convention resorts would be GF, Y&B Club, Contemporary and Coronado Springs. I believe it costs $10 for 15 minutes there. The Swan/Dolphin also has access for their conventions, but I don't know if that's the same cost as the 'regular' Disney hotels.

Neither option is particularly cheap :( (And boy, does the time whizz by quick - I used a kiosk when I was in NY - I thought 8 minutes would be plenty of time for just a quick peek at my mail with time to spare....I DON'T THINK SO! :o )

Some info wot I found: -

There are a couple ways to do it, none of them real easy. Try the business center in the Contemporary. It is rather expensive though.

The easiest way is to use the new internet kiosks that have been installed throughout the parks. The cost is $1 for 4 minutes, you pay via credit card, but you will have access to the internet, as well as web based mail. You also have access to all Disney websites for free. They are located all through the parks, usually next to the telephones, which are usually next to restrooms or locker areas.

Oh, and most of the Disney resorts also have these kiosks in the lobby. These are fairly new (within the last 6 weeks or so), so it is possible that not all resorts will have them.

To get on the internet try Disney Quest. Provided you have all inclusive tickets, it is free to use. The cafe in DQ has comfy couches and chairs (Cheesecake Factory?) all with computers that have internet access.

They take dollar bills as well and were starting to spread out when we were there in aug. Quite handy .... :D

we saw the internet kiosks all over the parks, I used them a littl but Penny is right, the time really flys by. And, I had some trouble accessing the Dis, I kept getting a 'this website is blocked' message. Also, you have to stand up, and there is no mouse, just a silly pad thing, so I got quite cross and frustrated in the end.

there is a restaurant/coffee shop in Downtown Disney, called the Fourty Thirst Street, and we found some internet kiosks in there. The price was similiar to the parks, but you could sit down, and I think there was a mouse, it just seemed much more comfortable all round. We stopped in there one afternoon and it was deserted. It's near the Planet Hollywood on the West Side
