This is a first for me. I am shopping for a watch at Disney. I am not going with one, and need to find one in the first day or two. Who has the best selection of watches? Where do you normally buy yours? Also, are there any watches with the castle on it? I appreciate your help.

Less than a week, and I'm going:bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce: CRAZY!!!!

I don't remember the name of the shop, but in the MK on Main Street on the right as you enter the park is a store that had a good selection of watches, I got mine there after looking at watches everywhere else.

Yes, the Main St shop it great, and they can custom make a watch for you. Also, there is a shop on the left side of Sunset Blvd at MGM with some great watches that do custom work as well. If you are in Downtown Disney, go to the World of Disney in the Villains room. They have a great selection as well.

Have fun watch shopping!:)

I got mine at the same shop described here...on the right as you walk in on Main Street. LOTS to chose from and they will customize it to fit perfectly while you wait. I wear my WDW watch every day and it's the perfect reminder of my "Happy Place". :p ;)

It think the 2 biggest selections are the ones described here, either at the Watch shop on the right hand side of mainstreet or at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney. They both pretty much have the same thing. The only advantage is if you have something that will give you a discount (AP) at World of Disney I would suggest buying it there. I got a good deal off of mine.

Yep, those are the places, don't forget the discounts at World Of Disney.

World of Disney at DTD is probably the best place. It's a whole room devoted to just watches.

Also, Mousegear at Epcot has a pretty good selection.

The last one I purchased was at the Contemporary. This was after looking at every watch I saw. Most of the stores have the same thing, but WoD in DD has the biggest selection.
Have fun shopping!!!

I bought my watch at World of Disney, and it does have a castle on it. It's gold, not colored, but I really like it. I bought it two years ago.

The shop on Main St is Uptown Jewlers.

The Art of Disney at Downtown Disney has the custom watches as well. I don't know if your AP/Amex or whatever discounts that people can use in DTD are good there, but you could ask!

All of the places mentioned here are great.

Happy shopping!

PS: I have over 20 Disney watches myself, about 40 total!

We stopped at the Orlando Premium Outlets and I got an awesome Mickey watch on sale for WAY WAY LESS than the $95 original price tag. I was even able to have links removed at the MK Main Street shop - they were very nice about it! I believe that the watches were discontinued styles, but no one knows that but me! Just an idea, if cost is a consideration. :D

I prefer either Mouse Gears at Epcot or the World of Disney at DD, with a slight leaning toward Mouse Gears. That is where I have purchased 4 of my last 5 Mouse watches.

I also purchased a Pooh watch at the Premium Outlets in Orlando. Character Charade? I don't remember the name of the store. I paid $25.00 for the watch. It was originally marked $75.00, then down to 35 or so then they were having a sale. I could not believe it. It was the first time my husband and I had been in one of the Disney Outlet Stores. We had no idea they were there. The woman who rung us up said they had been in business either 13 or 18 years. I had paid over $100 for a Pooh watch at MGM a few years ago. What a difference in price.

Got the 10% AP discount at WoD two weeks ago on a new watch. Adds up when you do not buy a cheap watch.

I bought watches at both the shop on Main Street at the MK and at MouseGears at Epcot. Just FYI, the shop at the MK was the only place that had a silvertone watch that could be sized to fit my daughter's wrist (she was only 6 at the time and had a VERY small wrist).
