Where is the Best Night Hot Spot?????

Thanks!

You lie beautifully!

In all honesty, I know I'm not their target demographic, and for the most part I don't care.

I just hate that they perpetuate the idea that young, buff, smooth, and tan are the only things that equal "attractive" in our society..

Now Rob - stop hating on me. :sad2:

I'm not saying that I hate people who are young, buff, smooth, and tan (of which, I'm not sure that you qualify for ANY of the above).

I just don't think that those are the ONLY attractive attributes people have.

No - there are other essential attributes-
Like devastatingly blonde and baby blue eyes.::yes::

And okay - so I'm not tan.
I'm more glowing alabaster.

Yeah screw e'm....

Hi there guys,

I'm going to Orlando with the other-half and our (straight) female friend this weekend, and we're looking at maybe going to a few bars and clubs. I've read through the comments earlier and looked online and Savoy, Parliament House and Wylde's all sound interesting (... and Sam will love them - anything with pretty, shirtless boys and cheap drinks and she'll be happy. Give her something she can dance to, and... well... it's gonna be fun trying to pry her out of there! ;))

As we don't have a bar at the apartment block we're staying at I was planning on making cocktails, but if I don't need to and we get a night out thrown in, that'd be great :)

Does anyone have any thoughts at all? I've noticed that Parliament House seems to polarize people.

Thanks in advance :)

There is no dance floor at savoy, so if she likes to dance you may want to consider the other options.

For dancing I would say go to Pulse, or P-House.

Last time I was at Wyldes it was pretty dead....

And unless you have GPS its not the easiest place to find!

We're doing pretty well thanks! It's been a busy few months, hence not much play-time on the boards...Congrats again on your nuptials....you guys look great! How are you?

You could try Pulse as well. They have go-go boys :)

Speaking of the P-House....Wanzie and Doug were just on real radio, they were saying how the P-House was going to do a big fund raiser for some Christian Homeless shelter. Long story short, the Homeless Shelter said no thanks because the P-House is a gay bar.

How sad is that?

:headache::mad::headache::mad:
That is enough to make me sick.

What Christian Homeless Shelter. I'm serious. What shelter. Many of those places get public funding, and if the one that refused assistance from the P-House does, there is recourse. Legal, and acceptable recourse.

Man, that is just so damned disgusting I can't stand it. Let people go without because they don't like... what? Don't like P-House, or gays, or the fact that gays care enough about their community to help?

I say we ALL start going to P-House on a regular basis and support them just for being decent enough to try and help!!! (And yeah, I was/am one (of) the ones who was being cautious about referring people to the P-House. Call me changed).

We've been to quite a few benefits at P-house in the last few months. They're always a lot of fun. And they usually gather a group of EXTREMELY talented folks to perform.

Hasn't Ru Paul performed there a few times?

Not sure. But of late, the benefits for charity have featured a lot of our friends in Disney entertainment.

And the Saint Francis House benefit also featured Seth Rudetsky. (he hosts Broadway Chatterbox). He's amazingly funny.
