We are excited to take our SECOND Disney Alaska Cruise in May. Our first time around, we bombed on finding the right Salmon bake. Just plain lousy -- I think it was in Liarsville but can't be sure.
Does anyone have a positive experience with a Salmon Bake they would like to share? I am trying to impress my whole family - consisting of teenagers - so I have a pretty insurmountable task ahead.
Thanks in advance!
Oh, and BTW, Disney just added the Sitka port to the itinerary - so maybe that's where all the good food is??

But for food....no salmon bakes here that are good. There is an excellent one in Juneau that combines with a Taku Glacier Tour. It is truly wonderful. Also, the Thane Ore House in Juneau has excellent salmon and halibut and it is a very "rustic, old-timey" type experience. Have fun on your cruise and I hope you enjoy your stop in Sitka---Disney is doing this as a trial I believe and I hope they keep coming!
