Don't know, did you do a search?

Here is what I've had for dinner the last 5 nights:

Boboli pizza
Omelettes
Fresh tortellini with olive oil, vermouth, sun-dried tomatoes, and herbs
Veggie burgers
Thai take-out

:)

The simpler, the better, imo. :)

Made a chicken dish last night that was good. Browned some chicken breasts, added some garlic (should have added it when I browned it, but remembered too late), sprinkled on some italian seasoning, poured some red wine over it and some water and let it poach. About 10 minutes or so before I thought it would be ready I added peas and sliced mushrooms, and served it with rice.

Oh, and I took everything out of the pan and simmered the remaining liquid into a bit of a sauce.

hmmmmm pork

Spaghetti with ground turkey

Cook Spaghetti according to package.
Heat sauce.
Brown Turkey .. we usually crumble it verus meatballs, quicker and easier. season as wanted. I usually use basil, seasoned salt, pepper and cajun seasoning.
Put all together .. Dinner is ready

Spaghetti -- $.99
Sauce - $1.29
Ground Turkey - $.89
Total - 3.42 (w/tax ;) )

We usually have toasted bread with it for another $.42

Grand Total - $3.88 (or .78 per person)

The girls love it.

Well, on the thread I think you're talking about, someone mentioned www.allrecipes.com I went there and looked around and made the Basil Chicken and Pasta and it was a hit! Very good and easy, just what I was looking for. So I recommend checking it out.

How do you make little burgers in mushroom sauce? After tonight, which is pancakes and, oh, I don't know, a side of feta cheese (scraping the bottom of the barrel here!), there will be nothing left in the fridge and I'll be off to the grocery store. I hope the firemen are there. :)

I use www.allrecipes.com ALL the time. I love to try the 5 star items. I made a chili recipe on Sunday and had the leftovers tonight. It is soooooooooo yummy. I also highly recommend this site!

Oh I need some new dinner ideas desperately!

I wish we had a running thread here with yummy, yet easy dinner ideas that we can come check out when we're in need of something new!!

I do go check out www.allrecipes.com from time to time. I do enjoy that website! I've gotten a couple of cookie recipes from there that were GREAT. I contributed one recipe and just submitted another that we'll see if they post!

Any more easy yet yummy dinner ideas??

http://www.frugal.8m.com/

It's called Monica's Frugal Home. I like the monthly menus. She has a lot of good stuff! She hasn't posted any new menus in a while, but there are a bunch on the site anyway.

Hope it's helpful!
