We meant to check this out on our last trip.

I have heard that there is a section of the castle where you can hear Stitch laugh and say something like "I am hiding". Has anyone ever experienced this? Exactly where is he "hiding"?

I hope this is true. Sounds too adorable.

I never heard of that. I do know that in the Stitch ride, they mention that Stitch showed up at Cinderella's Castle, but she turned him away.

Same here I know the castle is mentioned and seen in the ride but not him being around the castle. That would be cool if they did.

Googled and found this;

Sit on the stone ledge on the right side of the castle, you may hear Stitch giggle and tell you to be quiet because he's hiding.

I also found this before my last trip, and couldn't find anything when I was in the park. I think it may have been whenever the Stitch ride first opened, and they had the castle "toilet papered & graffiti'd" by Stitch. Do you remember seeing pictures of this?

I bet it was around then that they had the Stitch recording. But this is one of my question for our Keys to the Kingdom tour guide this summer.

Stitch was added to the sound system of MK when SGE first opened. He can still can be heard around the park in the strangest locations if you listen for him. :)

I LOVE Stitch! Has anyone been able to hear him in the park, I would really like to "find" him!

Thanks for the pic megveg! That's exactly what I was talking about. I think all the "Stitch hiding" started with that. I'll post in my trip report in a few months if I find anything else out about Stitch! Love him too :cutie:

Oh...my daughter would love this! I wish it was still there...

By the way, she has become a major Stitch fan since our last trip by way of the three dvds (Lilo & Stitch, Stitch The Movie, Lilo & Stitch 2) and we haven't ridden the new Stitch's Great Escape yet...so I'm wondering if it's too intense for a soon to be six year old? We rode the old Alien Encounter ride before she was born and I found that to be too intense for young kids. Anyone have an opinion on what a good age is for this attraction now?

Thanks! :flower3:

My DD will be 6 1/2 on our next visit.
She is very much like experiment 626.
I will let her decide if she wants to see the Stitch Escapes attraction.
I remember Alien Encounter...and that would be a bit much for her...every child is different though.
I know she will be ready for some bigger rides this time, like BTMRR... but we will save some others for another time.

Thanks for sharing this. How can anyone not love WDW? They take care of every detail! How funny!:rotfl:

This must have been right after we went the 1st time/last time. We got to ride SGE for soft opening, so it wasn't there at that time!

Thanks for all the responses

I knew I had heard he was "hiding" and asked you not to tell on him:lmao:

My daughter rode this along with her friend (just turned 4 and almost 4) and they did fine. However, I can certainly see that some younger kids would be frightened. It is dark and each person sits by themselves and strapped in with a shoulder harness. The kids on our trip loved it though!

Thanks for the reply. She loves Stitch so much that I think she'll do fine. I just didn't know if there were any scary moments. It doesn't sound like it though. I am getting the feeling that it is all done with Stitch's usual shenanigans in mind. :goodvibes
