1st, Not Pete Werner, he's in Milan right now :)

So I was sitting here and was thinking "everyone love Mickey, but surly everyone good has a nemesis, so who is Mickey Mouse's nemesis?" and I so I googled, one disney wiki said it's Pete, and I guess that makes sense and the article goes on and talks about the Theme Parks says that Pete only made 1 live action appearance and that was a disney on ice presentation, never at a theme park. So now I'm curious, why is there no Pete?

Everyone loves the Villains parties and even some want a Villains theme park, I was shocked, SHOCKED I tell YA :) to hear Pete was never involved in any of this.

Is his costume too hard? (Judging from the disney on ice pic he was kinda ugly, but then again early mickey from the early days of disneyland didn't look too hot either)

Is he just not interesting? Too Scary? Not villainous enough? What are your thoughts on the reasoning behind there being no costumed meet-n-greet Pete

That is interesting that Pete is not a character. I didn't even see him on Kenny the Pirate's master list of current and retired character. I don't think his costume would be that hard.

If they were worried about Pete being too scary they could always use the Goofey Movie Pete or the Disney Junior Pete that aren't really scary just not nice.

Maybe he's just not popular? I mean I did have to google Mickey Mouse's nemesis myself :confused3

The first thing my toddlers (2 and 4) asked after breakfast at Chef Mickey's was "Where is Pete?!?!" So your not the only one who missed him! We settled on a picture with the wooden version of him outside Pete's Sillysideshow.

That is intersting. I would think he would at least be in the Disney jr area since he's not that bad of a guy exspecially on Mickey Mouse clubhouse.

He's more of a bad guy on the older cartoons. At the clubhouse he's not always bad. They may not want to present him as a BAD guy or villian to the "new generation" of mickey fans

Yeah I remember Pete's Garage in Toon Town. My dad and I are both named Pete, so we'd get a picture there every time we went to Disney.

I was sort of discouraged when they ditched the garage. Maybe they could work him in with the movie Cars? I know it's a longshot but...

Personally, I'd love to see one area of Hollywood Studios dedicated to old Disney films and cartoons. The type that older millennials used to watch on Saturday mornings. Believe me, I'm geeking out for Toy Story, but if you can have an area where I could see the old characters in their old houses (similar to Toon Town) that'd be awesome. Having cousins that are 3 years old, I know for a fact Disney Channel (or Jr.) has a show with Mickey's neighborhood.

My kids were always bummed when they were little that they couldn't meet Pete. They also always wanted to meet Claribel.

He did appear on Ice.
