Where is parking for GCH?

I have been looking at google maps and the parking lots for the GCH seems rather small? Is that really where they park right in front of the hotel? Or do they park in the large lot on the W side of Disneyland Dr.?

Directly across the street from the entrance.

Self parking is on the west side. Everything attached to the hotel is valet...plus they also have an underground garage.

I am usually a self park guy...but honesty at the GHC, valet is worth it!

When in Rome...if you are going the luxury route of GCH then valet is the icing on the cake.

But yeah the self parking kind of feels like you are going to park at PPH.

A better question is how will it make you feel. When you pull up to the front and they come out in their outfits to take care of you and you see the old time car out front, it kind of feels like you are somewhere else in time. If you can enjoy that moment it really feels luxurious. Nothing like getting valet parking at a restaurant at the mall.

We usually would self park, but this last visit, we decided to use valet and would do it again in a heartbeat. Our van was parked underground. We decided for $60 more, it saved hubby from finding a parking spot and then having to walk all the way back to the hotel. He can walk into the hotel with us, grab an adult beverage and relax while I check us in!

You can park in the PPH garage . It is a longer walk but your car will be in shade and alot cooler when you need it. I have done it that way many times and just wheel the luggage or groceries down the elevator and thru the PPH lobby and then cross the street at the light to the GCH

Valet at the GCH is the ONLY way to go. Seriously. Heck, we always valet even at DLH.
