I don't see Jake as the next Bachelor...they will probably either pick one of the closer runners up or a completely new guy...I still think Jake is a little creepy?

Not sure if any of the guys left have the "Ken doll" appeal of Jake - he's not MY type, I liked Ed

Reid would be WAYYYYY picky as the bachelor, he's got issues
Kiptyn to me is not memorable nor does Jesse stand out IMO
If it's Michael, that would be different b/c he's so young

So far I've only gotten thru Jillian's visits to Reid's & Michael's families - even though Michael is younger, he seems much more in tune w/ who he is as a person, as compared to Reid who needs constant approval and I hope Jillian doesn't choose Reid simply DUE to his insecurities, figuring that's a guy that won't leave her.. .. I know I maybe in the minority but I like Michael and he does really care for Jillian.... of course haven't seen the other visits "home" but can't imagine Jill w/ Wes so will have to see what happens w/ the other 2

Okay, now does anyone agree with me that Jake is a little off center? He cried? Come on, man up!! She dumped you for the Country Star with a girlfriend....move on buddy!!!! Cute? Yes. Odd? Oh, yeah!!!

Moving on, I was most heartbroken about Michael...he seemed to genuinely care about Jillian, is he the only one? No, but for once tears from a Bachelor didn't make me feel squeamish...poor guy...

Ed...well, it remains to be seen if he can be the comeback kid..he does have a lot of catching up to do...

Reid, I really like him and I am starting to rethink my vote for Kiptyn.

Kiptyn's mom needs to call her plastic surgeon and ask for her money back...
although the whole hot tub, caution tape thing was funny...

Wes.....I am so done with this one...even I am confused...girlfriend, ex-girlfriend? So confused....just dump him already!!!!

Loved your post. I think you pretty much said it all.

I don't get the point of having Jake come back for some added drama. Maybe there's a contract and he needed more face time? I don't get it. The only thing I can think of is if they are going to have him as the next Bachelor and are trying to promote him.
If he is for real then like you said he shouldn't worry about some girl who is making poor choices. If she wants to be with somebody like Wes then so be it. And the craying? When he did that I turned to DH and said "and the Academy Award goes to..."

Did anybody notice when she first saw Reid that she wasn't very kissy kissy when he greeted her? I don't feel no passion there.

I missed last night's show! It was our end of year staff party, and I just totally forgot... then came home and put it on at 10ish (done at 11 here) and the power went off! I watched the part with Jake and Wes and then Ed just came in when the power went out. Hope I can find it somewhere on line.

Just finished watching it, I bullied DH into watching it to get his perspective.

Once he finished throwing up here's what he thought:

1. Wes definitely has a girlfriend

2. Jake is somebody he would want working for him/married to his daughter

3. My wife owes me big time for making me sit through two hours of this!


I thought Jillian had more sparks with Jesse's Nickelback rip off brother than she did with Jesse.

Kiptyn's family is that super-educated, casually cruel, brutally honest, emotionally removed type that will never really admit her into their ranks. Jillian will spend the entire time trying to live up to the mom's expectations and falling short. His sister scares me.

Reid's family was nice but their utter shock about how Reid was behaving towards Jillian says more to me than anything Reid does-I think he's an emotional armadillo with germ issues that's going to make her bonkers.

Michael, for the first time I really liked him! He became more than just a manic spaz. He's a manic spaz with heart and a good family. He's still too young for her (and really, she's just not right for him), but he's a good guy.

Wes. Geez. The producers love him, I don't think anyone else does. The sisters saying "all guys are jealous of Wes", that's dumb girl speak for "guys think he's a cheating weasel and they won't let their women near him". I think he's still there so he can truly hang himself on his lies, which of course will be very entertaining.

Ed. Told ya. Looks like he's been doing some emotional eating during his break, though .

My final four would have been Ed, baseball Mike, Jake and Tanner.

Why Tanner? Because I think a foot fetishist is more entertaining than a cheater, anyday.

Any bets on who has performance anxiety next week? I'm thinking Reid, at this point. If it's Ed I'm going to be really annoyed, because then he will have transformed himself from cool guy who re-arranged his priorities to be with Jillian to Mr. Wishy Washy...

I think this poster was referring to WES, not Jake. I think the only reason Jake came back was not to get Jillian back, but to tell her. He knew it would come o ut that he knew but did not tell Jillian. He was doing that for his conscience.

Wes is a jerk. I totally thought with the previews they were showing that wes admitted that he had a gf. But he did not!! Those DISHONEST producers. Sneaky, sneaky!!

At least, finally he is gone. My faith in her is restored.

DOES anyone know who the heck is saying all that stuff to her that they didn't t hink about things until now?? LIke wth is that?

I'm trying to figure out if Wes is really, really smart, or just plain stupid. Yes, he got the exposure he wanted. Will I ever buy his CD? not bloody likely! Even if I liked that kind of music, I simply wouldn't support him. I know it sounds corny, but really, the guy simply has NO class. Even the way he dressed....uugghhh...how did she keep him in this long?!

Having said that, though, you must admit - he's been pretty entertaining and certainly added some "spice" to the usual Bachelorette mixture. This has definitely been the most interesting season thus far!

ITA, WES is a SNAKE! I was thinking the exact same thing tonight. If I did like country music, I would not buy his cd OR go to his concert cause he is such an ***!!!
