DH said, WHY are you so upset about this Ed dude leaving? Ummm....b/c I voted for him in my poll!!

Ed said his boss was pressuring him & hinting that he'd lose his job if he didn't get back to work NOW, so Ed left

He told Jillian that he knew he was letting her down but he'd be letting 6 or 7 people down if he didn't go back

Jillian was quite sad...she said she was really having feelings for him (she had given him the rose on the group date this week so he knew she did care)
and she said something along the lines of, hope in the future when you meet someone, you can put them before work? I think it was something like that

Just IMHO it would be great if Ed DID come back on the show a couple weeks in...no one wants the dude to lose his job in this economy but Jillian surely did care for him

I'm trying to post without looking because I'm only 1:38 minutes in (I have tivo) and Ed just left.

He'll be back.

I guarantee it.

Why else would he take the rose with him with no explanation. Expect to see an "Ed's Back!" episode in the near future.

I'm just desperately trying to catch up with my day so I can sit down and find out who got booted, or if Ed leaving counts as the boot for that week...

I think Tanner's realized he's put himself in the "girlfriend" role and he's not very happy about it.

The other thing I notices was that Jillian is completely over the top head over heels with Kiptyn...

While I am totally convinced that Tanner is not the one for Jillian, he sure cracked me up!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was leary of him from the first episode, but he sure grew on me!!

I cannot believe that she got rid of JAKE in favour of WES????????????? Even dh who hasn't seen a single episode, happened to catch a few minutes last night and said, "what's up with that Wes guy?". I'm glad to see that Jake comes back somehow......... He's sure a great catch, but from the previews, I'm not sure Jillian ever sees that?? Anyone else smell the next Bachelor???????????

Jake? Not so much...he was soooo annoying!!! When he smiled he got kinda creepy, and then I think he actually said "golly, gosh"..or something to that effect...I know, I know..he's such a nice guy...but DEFINITELY not Jillian's type. Reid cracked me up about the fondue!! He was so paranoid, but kudos to him he ate it!!
But, my money is on Kiptyn...what she sees in him is beyond me, I mean yeah he's nice and so touchy, feely...but not the cutest..and OMG!!!, Wes, I can't wait until next week to see him reveal his band!!!
We'll see how it goes, I wonder who will not be "up" to the challenge on the fantasy suite dates...I haven't been so hooked on a Bachelorette since a guy I graduated from high school with was on...that was HILARIOUS!!!!!

I really liked Jake, but I guess he really wasn't Jillian's type. Is it Ed coming back to propose at the end?

I keep calling Reid "Chandler" because he totally reminds me of Chandler Bing on Friends. And does anyone else think that Jesse looks like Chris O'Donnell?


When is Jillian going to wake up about Wes? I mean, he's actually come out and said that he's more interested in promoting his music than in Jillian!

I actually think that the "surprise" person at next week's rose ceremony will be Ed, and that the guy at the end proposing will be the jerk from last season that dumped her after meeting her parents..but I also think that Kiptyn is the voice saying that he has been thinking about everything and then it sounds like he is dumping her at the final rose ceremony... and I REALLY hope it's Wes that can;t "rise" to the occasion...wouldn't that be HILARIOUS?!?!?!?!
Like I said, I haven't been this hooked since that guy from Buffalo was on, can't remember the name of the Bachelorette that time...I couldn't believe it when I saw a guy from my High School class on tv trying to get the Bachelorette...very weird..

I don't even know what type is Jillian's. The more I see of her the more I don't know much about her and can't figure out what she wants.
She dumps Jake...which is fine...he's too good for her. Great career, hot guy, seems nice...so what's the problem?
I had to laugh last week at the guy who got dumped on the train. When he said he was "inbetween jobs" I howled.
Wes is creepy. I wonder if she does meet his family at all next week or if she just gets to meet his band. Ugh. 'some say love don't come easy".
Tanner...makes me laugh. Seems like a nice guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. I didn't like him dropping his drawers as I don't think it's the type of thing you want in a guy (frat house behavior) but I sure didn't mind watching.

Oops... I didn't mean to lead anyone to think I knew what Jillian's type is, just that Jake can't be her type if she let him go!

The first episode, I just loved Wes, but since then he's got really annoying. All he wants to do is promote his music! Hopefully Jillian will realize that, especially if he only takes her to meat his band and not his family.

Jake must have some faults that we're not seeing, but I think he's adorable! He's really my kind of guy from what I see!

Didn't one of the previews say that someone was here only to become the next Bachelor?

I have no doubt that Wes would have no problem performing, and I don't mean onstage . He's a love em and leave em type, anyway, those guys I don't believe have issues with, ahem, that sort of thing, I bet.

Jake's going all superhero stalker on me with the coming back to confront Wes. Dude, she's an idiot, let it go. I have no doubt that there are bazillions of women getting their panties in a twist figuring out what airline he flies for and blah blah blah. His dance card will be punched for the forseeable future.

Ed'll be back, it's like watching an episode of Scooby Doo and the only guy on the show besides the gang is the innkeeper and wow, HE's the Miner 49'er, never saw it coming!

Since Ed left and Baseball Mike left, Jake's assertion that there were only two solid guys left (kiptyn and jesse, I think), holds true.

I'm more than a little dismayed at Jillian's apparent inability to parse the dorks, losers and *****s from the good guys.

Unless she's got who she wants all picked out already, and it's the producers who are running the show-say it ain't so, but it probably is. There's no other reason for Wes to still be there unless Jillian's a complete moron...
