Where is my FAVORITE DCL cast member?

Putu Widiantara, server on the Magic, has retired from DCL to spend time with his family.

I just had PUTU (with Edward)in Aprl and he gave no indication that he was leaving. His best friend on the ship, DWI was our server on the Magic in 2013.

I would like to know where Edward Wardle from England is as well these days!!! He was also on the Dream at one time.

We got off the Magic on 7/10 and he was the server at the table next to us. Wish we had him. Our server was poor never had one this poor on DCL however our assistant server Carlos from Spain (fairly new) was awesome. I understand when he has been on the ship long enough he is going to Palos.

Susana Moreira suggested she will likely only be on the Wonder for one contract (to experience its ports of call), and plans to return to the Magic afterwards.

And just to tidy up our "Susana Moreira" posts. Susana was assigned to Palo on the Wonder.

We had Alberto ( from the Phillipines ) as our head server on the Fantasy in the spring of 2013. Hoping those of you who recently mentioned an Alberto, that it's the same guy, and that he'll be on the Fantasy in November. I have requested him.

I would suggest Radoslav "Rado" Hristev (Bulgaria) or Zsolt Szep (Hungary). Rado returned to the ship this past week, so he will be on the ship next month. I am sure you will be happy with Rado or Zsolt.

We were lucky enough to have Ashang (Nishrenshang Kangoo) as our MDR server twice in a row on the Fantasy in May of 2013 and May of 2014.

Good Lord, did that guy work hard. Always cheerful, always goofing around with the kids, always remembered that my youngest kid preferred nothing but fresh banana and strawberries, very attentive but not overly pushy.

Not that our other servers were bad or ever failed to be polite and courteous. But you can tell when they are just "following the script" vs. truly being engaged. Ashang kind of pulled it all together very well with (what appeared to be) genuine enthusiasm.

Sadly, we requested him for our June cruise this year and we did not get him. Looked for him all over the ship, but I don't think he was there. I have no idea if he left DCL, transferred to another ship, or was in-between contracts when we sailed.

If he's still around, and you get him as your server, consider yourself lucky. He's good stuff.

Pier-Francesco, Palo Manager on the Disney Magic is no longer with Disney Cruise Line. Felice has transferred from the Wonder, but will leave for vacation some time in April.

Felice is currently Palo manager on the Magic (so looks like he is back from vacation)....He was on the Magic last week.

Ivan Frick (Hungary), Fantasy / Palo Server - recently left for vacation.

I would recommend Joseph Noma on the Disney Fantasy. He was our server in 2014, and I requested him for our August 8th cruise this year. We were lucky to get him - he just returned from vacation.

We actually got to speak to him several times on the EBTA this past May. We saw him often all around Deck 9 during the day.

On the Wonder, we had Aaron (server) and Elizabeth (assistant server, real name Maria)-they were WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! My son actually cried at last service (breakfast) because he was going to miss them Not sure if they are still there on the Wonder.

Does anyone know if Branislav Abramovic is still a server? We had him on the Magic in June 2012 and wondering if maybe he is on the Dream? (we sail in sept!)

He was our server on the Disney Magic last week and was amazing!

Susanna Moreira is a WONDERful Palo Server, and is currently on the Wonder. She has been on the Magic for quite some time, but switched over to the Wonder for one contract - so she could see Alaska, Hawaii and the Panama Canal.

Head Server - Krasimir Georgiev

This is great to see. Krasimir told us in February that the reason he left Palo was because he had a better chance of advancement in the MDRs. He was our Palo server on our first Fantasy cruise and was fantastic. We had no idea he had moved to the MDRs until we saw him. Hopefully we will be on his rotation in a few weeks so that we can get moved to his section (although Rui is a great head server too).
