just wondering what rates/hotels disers got for easter week......i booked all stars but the package is so high(peak season) i am having second thoughts....i already have my airfare and am starting to look at off site hotels. i even checked fairfield inn in marriott village(stayed in june and loved it!) but the rate is $159 a night!!!!!! i think i paid $59 back in june...of course i know easter week rates are high but give me a break!!!! :rotfl:

That is pretty much the second highest travel week (second only to Christmas/New Year's week). So, everything will be pretty much rack rate. I haven't been at Easter since 2002. When we did find rock bottom hotel rates- but travel was way down from 9/11 so it wasn't the norm.

Hopefully we'll have a few diser's going then too that can give us some idea's of rates and booking sites.

You could try renting a condo through vrbo.com. It is a site where you rent a condo directly from the owner. I knew that I wanted to stay at 1 of 3 condos, so I started e-mailing the owners what I wanted to pay for the week (despite the prices they had listed). I received an offer for $508 including taxes and cleaning fee for 7 nights April 8-15 for a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Palms by the pool and clubhouse facilities.

I think for the most part bargains are not in plenty this time of year. Maybe last minute but it is rare. Plan on paying the higher end price's.

We have a two bedroom at Vistana Villages - under $150 a night. I booked this in rate in August.
