Where is Bambi?

I don't recall seiing Bambi and friends anywhere in any of the parks. Anyone know where to find something to suggest that Bambi hasn't been forgotten as part of Disney's history?

I think it's just too difficult to have Bambi characters. Imagine a giant-sized Thumper... it'll be scary.

I just heard that the Bambi DVD will be coming out next year. I'm sure you will see something then.

Actually, there is a giant-sized Thumper!!!!! I met him at Mickey's Halloween party! He is a new costume, though he did appearances many, many years ago in a different costume. I think Thumper is the only Bambi character out and about for meets! I get the impression that he is quite rare to see out greeting.

I'm glad someone else remembers how special the Bambi characters are! I had my picture taken with Thumper AND Flower in 1972 or 1973. Haven't seen either one of them since. It'd be wonderful if they'd be reincarnated in the MK someday, but I wonder if they'd be very popular?

If it is.. He looks like the same rabbit that we saw during Easter! Very exactly alike! Well...except that he is not dressed in Easter suit. I have his pix, but not on my digital cam though.

How about Dumbo? Has anyone seen Dumbo character for meet/greet?

There have been a few photos recently of Dumbo floating around this board. He is adorable. I'm thinking we may see more of Thumper w/ the release of Bambi.

Yep! That is Thumper, since he signed my autograph book as Thumper, so no doubt! But you saw him dressed in Easter clothes? Wonder he he was officially Thumper, or an "Easter Bunny"? That would be very very unusual, for one costume to be used for two different characters!!
