My family and I want to take a frugal as possible mini vacation this summer. We want to go to Disneyland even if it's for a day. Thing is we are looking to go as inexpensive as possible so we are thinking of staying at a Residence Inn (we need a place that accepts well behaved dogs and they have full kitchens. We have a large family) close to a beach. That way we can stay near the beach, enjoy Disney for a day, back to beach, then road trip it home. One day of fun is better than none. We have been to Disneyland before and just want a taste of it this time. Has anyone done this? We are driving up from Oregon.
May sound crazy for just a short time but we are concentrating on the road trip part....good family bonding time Just isn't feasible on our budget this year to do more than one day at Disney.
