Where in WDW do you go for FRIED seafood?

Checked out the Flying Fish menu and it's not what I'm looking for. I want good, crispy, southern fried seafood with hushpuppies and coleslaw. You know what I mean!

It's not seafood but the fish and chips at the takeaway stand next to Rose and Crown at Epcot is good. Perhaps Coral Reef has fried seafood?

You won't get hushpuppies and coleslaw, but I second the Fish & Chips shoppe in the UK section of the World Showcase at EPCOT. DH and I share a basket every trip. YUM!!!

Columbia Harbor House in the MK is wonderful.

Columbia Harbor house is the best place for the Long John Silvers/Cap'n D's type Fried fish basket at a reasonable price if that's what you're looking for.

Sorry - you're not going to find it. I live in New Orleans where fried seafood is a religion and if you think you're going to find anything close you're in for disappointment!

I haven't been to Fulton's crab house, maybe there is something there. But a quick look at the menu doesn't look too promising.


BTW - I put a little brown sugar in my hush puppies to make 'em sweet. Mmmmmmmm.

Possibly not what you are looking for, but the fried catfish at Garden Grill seems to get a lot of good reviews. Also HOB has a starter that is fried catfish. I'm guessing you might be able to talk them into doing an entree of it for you.

It sounds like you are looking for that classic fried seafood platter--shrimp, scallops, maybe a crabcake, clams etc.
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of anything like that in WDW.
