It's not a type of sea anemone; not a JELLY fish. It's in THE aquarium. You'll have the rest of the afternoon & early evening to think on it...off to DD's Cross Country District meet. Hours drive ahead of us for a 15 minute race !

Many miles put on our cars for our kids but SO worth it! Redstorm pushed herself to the limit...

...turned in her best time ever...2 miles; 13.2 minutes...

...that earned her 1st Place in District!

Guess all that walking in DW this July got her in shape!

...turned in her best time ever...2 miles; 13.2 minutes...

...that earned her 1st Place in District!

Guess all that walking in DW this July got her in shape!

DD has her state meet on Saturday. Last meet of the season. It's on the toughest course in the state. It's on the side of a mountain and ski slope. I'll have to post some pics.

Thanks...her teammate was "neck & neck" with her the last 100 meters but she hung in there and crossed the finish line 1 SECOND ahead of her! This was their last meet of the season too and their course was A LOT easier than your daughter's! I can't imagine running CC on the side of a mountain! PLEASE post some photos...I'll show them to Redstorm and can already hear her saying, "*&%#"!

DD keeps saying she wishes she could run in middle school again. It was easier and only 2 miles. The courses are so much harder in HS and longer.
