It's hard for me to concentrate this morning ; my hummingbirds are having a party outside today! As I sit here at the computer my eyes keep wondering to those happy little creatures drinking that nectar ... I'm going to have to make a trip to the feed store for more! They're eating as much as DGD these days.

At the rate we're going on here today it may take 1 1/2 days to get it solved! If you're going to the MK my guess is you'll see it! In 10 days youngest DD will be able to point to it! She's excited to see the FROZEN fireworks again! IF this gets solved, I'll post the picture and I want you to have the same "pose" as DGD!

I picked up my computer yesterday afternoon. They told me it's all fixed, they turned it on and off multiple times and no problems.............I get home and hooked it up and pressed the power button and...........NOTHING. It wouldn't turn on. I'll be calling them back this morning when they open.

Maybe there is something wrong with the outlet that keeps shorting out our computer

Or they don't know what they are doing at the store lol

Yes it's plugged in to the wall. First I tried plugging it in to another outlet one I know works. Nothing. Then I tried plugging it in to the new surge protector I bought and still nothing. I wanted to bring it to a different repair shop but DH told me to call them back and tell them it didn't work. I called this morning and they told me to bring it back in. I bought an external hard drive so when it finally gets running again I can back up everything and if/when it crashes again I can just buy another one and I have all my info.

Nope. I recognized it from being from the entrance but I don't know any more than that. Is it directions into the park? Is it always there?

Kids need the computer almost daily. Most of their homework has to be submitted on line. We make daily trips to MIL and use hers. DS usually stays at school and does his work there. It stinks for me because there are some jobs I want to apply for but my resume and colver letter are on the computer.

Both kids are on Facebook and Twitter. I know I really should be on Facebook maybe when I get my computer fixed. I didn't realize they were both on Twitter. I asked DS one day if he had any followers and he was like yeah hundreds. He has something like 800 followers. I was like how did you get that many people to follow you. He said I tweet about hockey and the Bruins and they are all hockey/Bruins fans.

F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-I-N-G! I've been having problems lately too but nothing like that! Even after a year, I'm still on my old computer; DH uses new one or his laptop. This one is running so slow, even after updates...especially here on Disboards but better slow than not at all! I just can't bear putting this "out to pasture"...I'm not a fan of changes.
