Is that a Dooney and Burke purse?

That was my thought too.:thumbsup2 From a shop? DTD?

There's an old Southern saying, "Fall is a Southerner's reward for surviving summer". We'll be shutting our pool down for the year soon (water is already to cold :cold:); leaves are clogging the filter :faint: and pictures like this are MY "reward":

:lmao: Not mine so I'm off the hook! :rotfl2: There all for sale! I only have 5 on my front porch and it's easier...and safer (I'm a little dangerous with knives/carving tools) to paint & decorate than carve. :rotfl: :tink:

Now on to the Tower of Terror running report.

Remember last year that my sister and I did this run (well if you want to call it that):lmao: It fell apart because of everything that was happening then. dead last in age group and 93?? something out of 93?? something. The time was 3 hours 4 minutes. That was very bad.

This year was the complete redo and have a blast doing it. Training was much better. I went in with a pacing and fueling plan to work for me. For this older teenager :rotfl2: I had been training at a 13:30 to a 14:00 per minute mile pace. I had set a realistic a goal of 13:00 pace and an out there goal of 12:00 minute.

2 hours before race hanging out in the HS parking lot. I also did not take pics along the course or stop anywhere for characters. I was on a mission. The night was cool. Temp at race start was in the low 60's. Nice for running. I had trained with the temps in the high 80's to low 90's with the index in the 100's at times.

Anyway I finished the run in 2 hours 8 minutes. A whopping 56 minutes faster than last year. :woohoo: :yay::rotfl2: I had averaged 12:53. I was very pleased with this year. I was 83 out of 160 in the 55 to 59 age group. 4397 out of 9389 over all.

And the post run pic of me and my iced up sexy legs. :rotfl::rotfl: I did not hurt anything. Just do this to help in the recovery process.

The next day we spent all day walking around Epcot sampling food. I felt great. Rode Maelstrom on the final day it was open. When the park closed and we were walking back over by Norway it was comical to see how many people were in front of the closed entrance taking pics of the Maelstrom sign.

A future trivia question! :goodvibes) Dad is VERY proud of you! :lovestruc
