I shoot with a Nikon. I am not familiar with Cannon. Enjoy your new camera. I will look into what a T3I does. You know come September when you are here we are going to have fun taking lots of pictures.

I did buy me a new lens for my gift to me. I got a 35mm 1.8 which should be good on the dark rides.

No, my crop is not from the Haunted Mansion. It is from the MK and not from Adventureland or Fantasyland. I think that's where we are with it.

A new lens sounds fun. I'd like to have more than the 18-55 mm that came with mine. And, yes! We will have fun taking pictures!! I hope I can stay up late enough to get some of the empty park shots you specialize in!

My crop is from an attraction in the MK. It's not near or in the Castle.

I've been out shopping!!!! So many places to spend money out here!!!! Where I live, I have to drive 30 miles to get to Walmart and that's the only store there is in Colville! My cousin likes to say we used to have to drive to Spokane for everything. Now, if they don't sell it at Walmart, you didn't need it anyway!

We went to my favorite Greek restaurant! Then to one of the many malls around here.

Then to Best Buy!!! Merry Christmas to ME! I bought myself a new camera!!! Ed? Are you out there? I bought a Cannon Rebel T3i What do you think?? I'm watching the intro DVD that came with it and I understand about 5% of what they are saying

Oh! I didn't know you had a Canon Rebel!! I read a lot of good things about them and know other people who like them and I have seen some really sharp pictures that people have taken with them! I'll be going into DC on Wed and will try it out!

I never use the 18-55 lense that it came with anymore. I bought a 28-135 it does a lot more. My next lense is going to be a good zoom lense.

Santa and his helpers have been busy and left pretty much everything on my "wish list" under the tree except a trip to DW! I DID get a Disney gift card though. The weather forecast had us preparing for a wet, cold Christmas Day...well, Santa needs to bring the weathermen some new "forecast" equipment ... we have sun, 66 temp, maybe enough rain to make the driveway wet and wind gust, probably up to 30-35 mph! The predicted low tonight is the upper 20's; if that doesn't materialize the Elves need to get busy on new "toys" for them!

This is an other; not associated with an attraction, shop OR food service.

...back on "clean up duty"...lunch dishes just won't put themselves in the dishwasher and I can't find my tree in all the paper and boxes!

They had our weather wrong today too. We were supposed to get 1-3 inches today but we only got a dusting this morning. Then the sun came out this afternoon and melted all the snow. They are predicting a major storm for Thursday up to a foot of snow and then another one on Sunday. Let;'s hope they are wrong.


I got a photo scanner for Christmas so now I can scan my albums full of photos from WDW..........as soon as I figure out how it works

I watched the parade. I love the Disney Christmas Parade. I wish they still did the Easter one. It's too bad Emily had to work, but the money is good. What does she do for work?
