I remember those trip to Shea Stadium with dad. My parents just hit their 55th annerversary and also grew up Jersey.
When the motorsports park was rebuilding 4 to 5 years ago i was on 25 boards posting updates. That was cut back to 4 that i will post on every so often. Those are also drag racing boards. DisBoards is where i play most of the time now cause ya'll are my Disney family.

So, when I try to explain to them them I have these friends..... from all over the country.... that I talk to every day...... mostly about Disney stuff..... They have a hard time grasping what I'm even talking about.

When i read about you talking about your young children a good thought was you were younger, but when you said in your trip report
I am starting this TR within a reasonable time since returning from our trip, so everything is relatively fresh in my mind

You have a beautiful family James. Will finish reading the TR later. I am also from New Jersey and have been a Mets fan since back when they won the series in 69. Yes i am over 16
And...YES...when I talk about my Disney family I get the "blank looks" and I can tell they're thinking..."Yep...she's lost it"! The one thing that truely amazes me is that half of that "family" are Yankees! That's a hard thing for a Southern girl to say! 
Hopefully, after this "moving week" for DD's family, (and the opening weekend of fall soccer ... 3 games this Saturday 
) I'll have a little more time to read it all!

Since you can pretty much go from one end to the other with out actually walking on the sidewalk or the street I think there has to be the rule that when you guess a shop on Main Street it covers all of them.
I think I must get the strangest looks up here! Less than half the people have computers and hardly anyone has been to Disneyland or DW
It's like my Disney pins...... They know I'm nuts when they see my collection of Disney pins!

I almost feel "bad" for the people that "don't get Disney"...they have no idea what they're missing!

Park, resort or other...my first thought is the upper level seating in the Fantasmic area.
