Now a "lightbulb" is coming on..but it's still dim! I remember seeing something like this...Asia?

Well since there was nothing saying to NOT comment here I feel I must point out that dim lightbulb is still using an original Thomas Edison filament

I hope the weather is better for the soccer game today. I had a lot of rain last evening and night. It was also wet this morning outside.

That is sad about the moderator dying from cancer. My Dad died of cancer and a best friend with 3 small kids when she was 37. I hope "They" discover a cure for it soon!

Your DGD is so lucky to be in DW at all, and on her birthday - bonus! I wouldn't care if I lost either! And your DD sounds like a great planner. I'm sure she learned that from you!

Did you guys notice that Disboards will be shut down Wednesday from 11 AM-Noon. Marsha Coughin, a moderator, passed away after a battle with cancer. The 'Boards will shut down in her memory during her funeral. to her family and friends.

Prayers to all of Marsha's family and friends.

SunDial...as for your "comment" on the lightbulb...; rotfl2: To be perfectly honest today...I almost FEEL like Thomas Edison today! Heat/humidity is getting to me!

GOOD NEWS FROM THE SOCCER FIELD! Victory this morning against the Lakeland, FL team! Only received a brief text from DD so don't know what weather was like; she didn't mention any rain yesterday but it was only 1 PM when I talked to her and we know how those afternoon showers pop up! I'm sure the Drill Sergeant DD has them in the parks already today. No game tomorrow so they'll get to "sleep in" and enjoy some pool time...as the "schedule" permits!
