Busy day here since it IS the last day of vacation! Lots of "let's do this one more time stuff" AND DH & I both have doctor appointments this afternoon! Our kids are actually starting a week later than normal; new superintendent wants to "try it this way". No one likes the schedule but it's done so we deal with it. And jeepwreck...your right...they'll have to attend classes into the first week of June now which is why there's so much complaining about the new schedule.

Yes I am. The storm is in the middle of the gulf and there is a band hanging over the east coast. Been a solid rain for over 3 hours and many more to go. My mom sent a text not long ago that the running total is at 15 inches so far. Hey Jeff, there is plenty of water for the boogie board here.

Yes I am. The storm is in the middle of the gulf and there is a band hanging over the east coast. Been a solid rain for over 3 hours and many more to go. My mom sent a text not long ago that the running total is at 15 inches so far. Hey Jeff, there is plenty of water for the boogie board here.

I have not been watching too much of the weather down there.. is the hurricane going to hit Florida or will it go around and hit more the southern states instead

It is probably not on a bus route. I'm almost positive it is not on a bus route. I drove my car and took a back way by Fort Wilderness.

Yes, we have snow days up here too. No hurricane days! I wish you could send us some water. I haven't had rain in over 36 days. But, I'd rather have snow days than hurricane days! I love a snow day, staying home by the fire.
