Yes I am. The storm is in the middle of the gulf and there is a band hanging over the east coast. Been a solid rain for over 3 hours and many more to go. My mom sent a text not long ago that the running total is at 15 inches so far. Hey Jeff, there is plenty of water for the boogie board here.

i guess its like snow days here but you cant go out and play n the middle of a hurricane

I have not been watching too much of the weather down there.. is the hurricane going to hit Florida or will it go around and hit more the southern states instead

There are days like today when I remember something a dear, elderly friend once told me...she was actually my home ec teacher in high school and after DH & I married she was our neighbor. There IS a reason God made it really, REALLY hard for a women over 50 to have babies"! (She also taught me how to fold flat sheets NEATLY! ) Today was one of those days...WHERE do those kids find all that energy?

Getting close to the Hurricane Alicia total dumped on Houston...21"! jeepwreck...hurricane WILL eventually stop raining on SunDial...it's moved N/NW in the Gulf and is taking aim at New Orleans right now. Son-in-laws brother has already had his National Guard unit activiated.

Now that I can SEE again ... ophthalmologist went crazy with the drops today ... I will attempt to solve some of these puzzles!

Well, close enough. It's Golden Oak but, it is not a retirement community. It's the only place you can actually buy a house and live in Disney World!!

This is the sales center. The community is gated.
