Magic Carpet Ride?

😳 wow usually it’s busy this time of year

They were just REALLY early and got there before the crowd. Walked to HS from their spot at Boardwalk so didn't have to wait for transportation. They did Slinky Dog, Toy Story and RnR before 9:10! She said it was good they made it early; got really busy as the morning progressed. They're both early risers so pretty sure they didn't waste any time making that walk over! :rotfl: Katie and Anna were "no where to be found" :rotfl2:...in other words mostly likely STILL in bed! 😴:tink:

They moved to Saratoga Springs today and, again, lucked out with the view! :goodvibes They can even watch the balloon flights!

i dont get the whole switching resorts, once i am unpacked i don't want to pack up again to move resorts. and i am sure you need to take a ride share or something to get to the other resort there is no internal connection

You'll learn the key to resort switching when you join the DVC. 😁 Since they go 3-4 times a year they have to watch their points carefully. Resorts have different point values; the most convenient locations taking more points to stay at. They could stay at, say WL, the entire week taking XXXX amount of points OR they can enjoy the "convenient location" for 3 nights and then move to a lower point resort (as in OKW or SS for XX points) and save enough points for, say another 3 night stay on the next trip. For your family it may be different since you normally go maybe once every 2 years. You'd be able to "bank" your points and not have to move. For their family it saves them points by moving for multiple yearly visits. The luggage is moved by CM's; they arrange the transportation with the Concierge, leave for a park in the morning and once they're notified the new room is ready just leave the park for the 2nd resort. No internal connection needed. They also schedule their park days around the resorts. This trip was mostly Epcot/HS when they were at Boardwalk and MK/AK/Disney Springs while at SS. I personally don't like the packing up and moving either but they don't mind and it works enabling them more trips during a year. :tink:
