We lost a sweet, sweet member of our family earlier this evening and my heart is breaking. Our nieces German Shepard, Cain, crossed the Rainbow Bridge about 7 PM. Kate was out of town for a wedding and her brother rushed Cain from the boarding facility to the Texas A&M Vet Hospital with an aggressive pneumonia. He's been under vet care since earlier this week when he pinched a nerve in his back getting out of Kate's car so not sure how/why he got so sick so fast. They kept him comfortable until Kate could make the 3 hour drive from Dallas to be with him. The entire family was in love with this sweet dog; he will be missed.

If you'd have told me 15 years ago I would spend my Sunday afternoon glued to the TV watching ladies soccer I'd have said...WHAT??? It's taken me that long to learn the game and I'm still not quick enough with the eye to see the offsides calls (I can clearly see them in slow motion )! Maybe by the time Allie plays her last game in a couple of months I'll recognize those calls in real time too! What a great FIFA cup final today ; there were some hits/tackles some NFL players could learn from and literally came down to the last second of play for Spain to take the win 1-0! Now maybe I can manage my time better and get back to getting chores done!
