Oh they are not having a good week

They're not the friendliest neighbors on our street but I do feel bad for them! They've had a very expensive, rough week! Tree removal costs a "bundle" if you can't do it yourself and I'm thinking the car is a total loss; smoke was pouring out the doors, the hood is "blistered" so there can't be anything left of the engine. Ironically, my niece was walking by the car Wednesday and could smell something smoldering. She knocked on their door (all the cars were home) to let them know and they wouldn't answer...totally ignored her.

Yes in Maine until Tuesday. Don has to work Monday he was supposed to have it off but now everybody has to work. He’s working about 30 min from where we are so he’ll leave from here. Today is nice but supposed to get some rain the rest of the weekend. Still trying to shake my sinus headache issues. Going to have to go back to the doctor.

Yes in Maine until Tuesday. Don has to work Monday he was supposed to have it off but now everybody has to work. He’s working about 30 min from where we are so he’ll leave from here. You STILL having trouble? So sorry...reminds me of David & I after we got back from England. It's the pits... you don't feel like doing anything! We MAY be down for a little rain next week too....starting on the 4th. The high pressure over Texas is SUPPOSE to move on...or ease up a bit...HOPE SO. Maine sounds Heavenly...we're hibernating inside but am going to venture out to the pool shortly. Still extremely HOT; Allie's even given up her "summer training"! She's in the Houston area this weekend visiting with one of her HPU friends and childhood friend, Cami, is picking her up tomorrow to go to their beach house in the Galveston area for the 4th. Katie has dance tryouts today; a "formality" for the older dancers and sure am glad she doesn't have to anxiously wait for the results posted later this evening. She has to work tomorrow and maybe the 4th & 5th too. Not sure; they're so shorthanded and she's grabbing shifts if she doesn't have other things on her schedule. Amanda & Bryan are going to the lake tomorrow; wish they wouldn't but oh well! She burns SO easily and that place is going to be "Disney World crowded" ... I wouldn't set foot in that lake area for anything! At least Don is only 30 minutes from his job; David has to work Monday too but expecting a light day. A LOT of people are taking a "5 day weekend". And YES...go back to doctor!
