Finished baking MY birthday cake 
before dinner and now have the homemade ice cream chilling. Making all of my favorites for our family dinner tomorrow...gonna HAVE to teach the girls these things so THEY can make it FOR me one of these days. 
Can't WAIT for this ice cream...Mexican Chocolate...chocolate syrup in half & half with cinnamon and almond extract added!

but the guys and Amanda will. Allie's photographer's family will join us...she's giving Allie that awesome picture she did a couple weeks ago. She had it enlarged and framed and Allie hasn't seen this creation yet! The Mexican chocolate ice cream is SO good! We've been making it for ages...Amanda put it in a church cookbook when she was 11 years old! The cinnamon and almond give it a very unique flavor; I can't stop eating it when I get started! 
Neither one of the girls "do" bundt cakes and my birthday cake this year is the Blueberry Lemon Bundt cake. I almost asked Sara to make one of her Bourbon Pecan pies but a friend went and picked blueberries for the first time last week and when I sent her the recipe I got hungry for the cake too! David treated me to dinner last night; our local Chinese restaurant has finally reopened since the shutdown and I SO wanted some of their Lemon Chicken! It's been FOREVER since I've had that dish!
