Backlot Express or ABC Commissary?

Had to go back to work today.:crazy2: Not sure why, nothing to do. I just did what I've been doing at home which I could have just done at home.:headache: No one else has to go back to work just me and Laura. At least we alternate days so I don't have to see her. Go in one day work at home the next.

THANK GOODNESS you get to alternate with her though! That would be miserable with JUST the 2 of you in the office! 😏 Strange though... why can't you just do your work at home! :confused3 Not sure about the other schools in Bellville but high school office staff...and some coaches...have been reporting every day. But...they're getting ready for the "virtual awards" and working on graduation plans. I don't envy them AT ALL. Getting a lot of "grief" over the plans and some of their decisions seem "bone-headed" but they have to follow the state guidelines PERFECTLY. Latest "to do"...seating is being determined on a lottery basis. In other words...Allie, as Class Salutatorian, could "draw" spot #160 which is located in the absolute crappiest part of the stadium without a decent view of the stage and the student who has spent time in "alternative school" for discipline problems could draw the spot on the "50 yard line". 🤬 :tink:

"Kid central" again this afternoon :goodvibes; 2 in the pool...2 finishing up "senior things". I'm going to be SO lonesome when schedules get back to normal! 😳 Here's another crop ...

Wow  That hardly seems fair. Should be first come first served. Not sure what will be accomplished with the lottery.

There are a LOT of parents of top students more than a little ticked off! They can't do "first come, first served" because of the regulations put forth allowing "mass public gatherings"; they'll have to be "seating in intervals" to avoid the "everyone at the front gate at one time" thing. BUT....why shouldn't the top 10% of the class get a "reward" for BEING the "top 10 of the class"? Those students have not only kept their grades up but have served on Student Council, National Honor Society, Math Olympics, etc. so they should get a tiny "perk" for being the class leaders. :confused3 It's very frustrating and, like I said, I sure am glad I'm not the high school principal right now! :rotfl2: I know they're trying to be fair but they're already asking ALL of the students to leave out people they'd like to have watch them graduate with only being allowed to have 4 tickets. Personally, I don't understand why they didn't wait and have a July graduation; hopefully by that time restrictions would be lifted a little more. In fact, the senior students are wishing the same thing. :tink:
