Oh my goodness ... it's HARD to get motivated today! We have had a steady rain almost all morning and nothing is better than laying around listening to that rain on the metal roof! David, Boo and I are positively useless!

We just had a 2 hour power outage with an 83 degree temperature outside! House was getting a little warm without the AC running! Since I couldn't work on computer projects I got out Allie's tee shirts that we've been saving for a quilt! More like 5 QUILTS...I will have a little over 125 shirts to use! I'm going to have to do 2 double sided ones and will still have enough left over to do one for Sara! Your bedroom cleaning project is on my "to do" list too once we get Allie off to college and I have a few years before I will need to work on projects for Katie! Hope you're making progress!

No Ma'am, not a hat or belt but IS something useful that you wear.

Hooray on the progress! I've divided the tee shirts into 5 different stacks and Allie's going to have to pick her favorites! They're coming over tomorrow so she'll have plenty of time to do it.

I actually have enough to do 5 quilts ; I've decided I'm going to do 2 double sided ones (tee shirts on both sides) and then I'll do the "special" soccer one with the fluffy soft red blanket I'd purchased a few years ago for the backing. She LOVES that soft blanket and it would be "so snuggly" when it's cold. I'll wait a couple of years before I do that one...until she gets tired of wearing her soccer playoff tee shirts from high school. The other 2 will include her youth activities, vacation trip tee shirts (lots of Disney ones ) and all the volleyball shirts.

Okay...think REAL hard for this useful item and remember you're at Disney World ; it's not Mickey ears or sunglasses but those are GOOD guesses!

Blanket is SO soft...and it's the perfect red!

I KNEW THE LIGHT BULB WOULD COME ON! I'd LOVE to have this magicband! I came REALLY close to asking David to get it for me for Christmas!
