What a BEAUTIFUL day for soccer ; we'll be back to rain and cooler temperatures Tuesday but we sure did enjoy today!

Pretty We woke up to about two inches of slush. It snowed a little and then rain on top of it.

I was leaning toward The Land but thought just popped in my head...a lantern from China...I'm starting with Epcot.

Actually started taking my Christmas tree down last night but after getting DD's "schedule" for this week it may sit again for the week! TRYING to get to it this evening but a lot of "obstacles" in the way this evening!

I didn't really take notice but I'm sure there was one of these on When Calls The Heart this evening. You don't usually put food on it but depending on the style, you could. We can use ours for food if we have too.

Our high school kiddos are dealing with a lot of grief tonight ; one of their most beloved teachers passed away today. She was one of Redstorm's favorites ; one of DD's classmates and the mother of 2 boys, one in Jr. High and the other in Middle school. She was diagnosed with colon cancer 2 years ago and fought it as long as she could. She went into remission at the end of the first year and was able to finish the school year but the cancer returned about 8 months later and then spread to her liver. A wonderful lady who touched the lives of SO many children; the entire community mourns her.

That's so sad. She was young.

Way to young to have terminal colon cancer . That poor family is no stranger to tragedy; 2 of her uncles were killed in an auto accident, her mother (a high school classmate of mine) died of a massive heart attack about 10 years ago and now Lisa.
