Happy New Year Everyone!!!! I sat next to a man on the plane who had gone with his family of 7 to DW for Christmas. It was packed. He stayed off property so they could not eat in a restaurant or get fast passes. They ate fast food and wandered around. He did enjoy the fireworks. Not for me!

Not for me either! What a disappointment for that family; WHY would anyone choose to go during the Holidays and stay OFFSITE (other than Diane's co-worker ). Total waste of money! My nephew and his wife were there from Dec. 21-26; had FP's, ADR's, EMH and everything worked out wonderfully for them. They even did Slinky Dog without a FP when they did EMH rope drop at HS and got ADR's for EVERY restaurant they wanted at times they wanted. Perfect vacation for them even with the crowds because they PLANNED. I still wouldn't go the last 2 weeks of the year though...WAY to "crazy" for my taste.

This is part of the gingerbread display...I always thought this carousel was at the YC but I actually think this part is classified as the BC and the Snow Village display is the Yacht Club. Either way...IT'S SOLVED!

Diane...still snowing? This morning was still beautiful here...a little cool but sunny and quiet day. Clouds started rolling in around 3 along with cooler temperatures. Already at 49 degrees and rain starting around 1 but they've already issued flash flood alerts...and CANCELLED the soccer scrimmage! (Really didn't "hurt my feelings when Redstorm called...was NOT looking forward to sitting out in 40 degree weather with DOWN POURING RAIN tomorrow to watch her scrimmage! )
