That's too bad.

Sit down? Prime Time?

Doubt I will get everything completed, been busy. Track meet yesterday. All the meets are an hour away. Tomorrow hockey alumni game and soccer game. Saturday another track meet. I did start customizing my magic bands. It had two separate magic bands one set for each resort reservation. I'm guessing we can just use the first set at both resorts. Sort of have an idea of where I want to eat. Family is no help with that. We don't do a whole lot of sit down. Just worried about trying to make the reservations on the day I can I will be at work and won't be able to make them until the afternoon. Looked at ticket prices. Cost more than 7 nights at the resort. I will need help when it comes time for the whole fast pass plus thing.:upsidedow

Sat is when I can start trying to get my fast passes
The hard ones right now is the two new ones in AK
But with 2 days in each park I am hoping to get Them both

Wow...with your temperatures and snow I'm surprised there are ANY activities other than staying warm! :rotfl2: We're already thinking Redstorm's first soccer scrimmage will be cancelled.."predicted" rain/sleet/snow (but that will change tomorrow ) but temps are suppose to be in the 20's. They can't play if it's that cold...but then, the game WOULD be outdoors in the football stadium! :cold: The first weekend in January has a tournament scheduled also...with low temperatures in the forecast too! And here you are driving around in all that snow and cold going to sporting events! :rotfl:

Yes...pretty sure they can program the bands for each resort but ask when you check in; might be easier to just use the new ones. We plan our park days around our meal reservations; since you have more days to work with than we usually do that shouldn't be a problem for you. Especially since it's so easy to go from park to park. We went over to Epcot one day just to eat. :goodvibes If your family is no help just make reservations where YOU want to eat! :rotfl: The menu's are all filled with variety so they could probably find SOMETHING they like! OR...ask each one what type of food they most desire and pick a restaurant that fits that request. That would take care of 4 meals. We could help you with suggestions since, between at least Denise and I, we've eaten at quite a few different places. Once you get you meals decided you can start working on fastpasses to coincide with the parks you'll be eating at. Just remember you MUST check in for your meal reservation 15 minutes before scheduled time and all 4 of you need to be present. Hard and fast rule of "Disney Dining"...especially during busy times. They will NOT honor your reservation if you're late. Pick your first 3 fastpass choices the day in the park you'll be eating at and be ready when the time comes to book them. As for the reservations in the afternoon be prepared to alter your requested times by 30-90 minutes...or...try to make them before you leave for work (at least the most important ones since time will be short for you in the morning). I've gotten desired restaurants at the last minute by scheduling at odd times ... like 3:20 in the afternoon. :goodvibes As for the ticket prices :scared1:...YES...they've gotten "out of hand" in my opinion!o_O :tink:

DD gave me a hint when we went in 2016. To get closer to your desired times on the popular ones make the reservation close to the end of your trip. For instance...you arrive on a Monday, say the 1st, and are staying until Friday, the 5th. First fastpass you try to get Saturday is Flight of Passage for Friday the 5th. Most people tend to start with day 1 of their trip; get the important one's scheduled first toward the end of your trip and work backwards. Hope that's not to confusing :rotfl2: but it worked for me. I got FROZEN on the day I wanted it; a little later in the day than I hoped but we altered our schedule and it worked out fine...and Ed was able to make it to the park by the FP time so he got to join us. :yay: :tink:

I don't like how they changed where if you have a split stay you can't book reservations during the second resort stay at the same time anymore, you have to wait.

There are a few places I know I want and then some I may want to try. I don't want to do too many. I know definitely Chef Mickeys for breakfast. Ohana, WCC, LTT, and Via Nappoli for dinner. May want to try Prime Time and Homecommin'. I would like to eat at BOG but the menu doesn't impress me. Thought of maybe lunch but that menu isn't great either. What time can you book online? I thought it was 7, I have to leave the house at 7.

We never get park hoppers so it's one park per day. Just trying to decide how many days to get tickets for usually we get them for however many days we are there. It's nice to have the option of going to a park to eat or see a show even on a non park day.

Sounds like you have some cold temps coming your way. It's no fun to watch or play in the cold.

Uptown Jewelers? :tink:

This is from Main Street. It is a Christmas ornament on a tree inside. Inside where? It's not inside Uptown Jewelers.

I've heard the park tickets are going up on Jan. 4. I'm going to buy mine as soon as I get more money. I've got my room and my flight booked and I've made my dinning reservations. Next is tickets. Then a rental car. Then a scooter.

Emporium? Train Station?

:headache: Haven't done a split stay in so long, I didn't know this. :headache: Pooh...oh well...gives you a few more days to make decisions. :goodvibes Also...did you see the announcement that there will be no more DO NOT DISTURB signs? You'll now have a "Room Occupied" sign to hang out and Housekeeping will check your room daily even if you DON'T want it cleaned. You hang out the "Room Occupied" sign to signal no housekeeping but they will knock, identify themselves and enter the room to inspect it. I understand that it's a "safety issue" (as DD says...they need to make sure you're not building a bomb or something in the room ::yes::) and I'm okay with that but hate to have to "straighten up" before we leave for the parks!:rotfl: :tink:

I sometimes think it's harder WATCHING in the cold than playing! :rotfl2: At least they're on the field running and getting their body temperature up while we're just SITTING wrapped in blankets! :rotfl2: Homecommin' sounds like one I'd like to try too and I always "vote" for Prime Time. Continues to be a must on our trips...LOVE the Chicken Pot Pie. :lovestruc I'm pretty sure you need a park ticket to get in even if you only have a meal reservation. You might want to double check that. I'd schedule resort or Disney Springs reservations on days you're not planning on a park visit just to be safe. You may be right on the 7 AM booking time; I was actually thinking 6 AM. I'll ask DD if she knows for sure but seems like I remember her telling me she sets her alarm clock for 5 AM Central time (6 AM Eastern time) to begin her bookings. :tink:
