Last day was great...3 Overall High Point (in class) trophy's and one 2nd place! She didn't even tell her dance teacher...didn't want her to leave the stage. We got her fixed up but she missed all the "after" pictures ...but Mimi took pictures later during dinner with her medals! Some really cool dances by some of the larger studios...took lots of pictures of the Disney themed shows! Had a 2 hour lunch with another amazing friend living on The Island and closed the evening watching the sunset over the Bay. LONG day so off to bed for ret and headed home tomorrow...which is okay...miss my GOOPY!

Back home to chaos but it's Home Sweet Home. Spent an extra 30 or so minutes on Galveston Island this morning because DH wouldn't listen to me when, after touring some of the older neighborhoods in downtown Galveston I told him to "take a right to Broadway to hit I-45 north". He insisted we had to get on I-45 FROM Seawall Blvd. so we drove A-L-L the way back to Seawall and traveled west for 5-6 miles before he commented he thought he'd see the I-45 sign by now. I AGAIN suggested he "take a right and get back on Broadway" which, THIS time he decided to do (probably just to prove me wrong ) when WOW...all along Broadway there are signs pointing to I-45. Didn't matter ...we reached home safely to the "totally cluttered" house with the rest of DD and family's possessions. Yep...we are now a "family of 6" plus 1 more rather large dog named CiCi since new family took possession last Friday night. Son-in-law got the needed furniture moved in over the weekend and actually had sheets/bedcovers...and stuffed animals on the beds. Redstorm was finishing her unpacking when we walked in the door. DD and I have a lot of "stuff" to put away but we're getting settled in. It will take some adjustment but we'll deal with it...and I don't have "kitchen duty" until Tuesday night so my "vacation" is extended!

Good point Jeff...it IS Monday and we need to ease into the week. To be honest, I think this is a pretty easy one. Keep thinking on it ...this is from an Epcot attraction. (Good to see you back Diane...hope your weekend was as good as mine. )
