There is something in the canister's that's found in every Italian kitchen; not plates, knick knacks, coffee or tea...something an Italian cook would use.
I was using my zoom (we were seated on the other side of the room) and couldn't tell there was actual pasta in the canister's until I viewed the photos at home; another one of those little "details" that makes Disney special! 
. Now we need to figure out the County retirement option that's best for us and count the days down! Thirty-seven work days to go plus 2 weeks of vacation/sick/comp time and he's done with the "day to day grind". 
He's marking them off on the calendar! 
Also spoke with his knee doctors office today and they've indicated they will "write off" the charges the insurance company won't pay. 
(Guess it DOES help to use a personal friend as your surgeon! ) Not celebrating on that YET but looks promising. Maybe, just maybe, I can start booking a DW trip soon...maybe. 
Well, it's OFFICIAL...DH finished the paperwork this afternoon to start his Social Security
But it's business as usual for now...new one to start the weekend:

THANKS...he's a pretty "happy camper" tonight now that the "wheels have been put in motion". It's finally REAL for him!

There's someone else that stayed "home" and can play WITW! Finished the outdoor work for the summer ; hoping to stay in the AC now until September. 
Enjoyed the pool with DD and her niece's to cool down and now it's time for inside work to begin. Hectic few weeks ahead...
