Terri has it nailed! The main entrance area of Conservation Station; strangely enough, I didn't even NOTICE the little old lady until I viewed my pictures after returning home! I was looking at the "Song of the Rainforest"

I set 3 alarms and the clock radio to make sure I was up on time this morning...I have a BAD habit of either not even hearing the alarms or hitting the snooze button . Needed to make sure DGD's got to their morning activities ON TIME. Strangely enough...I woke up BEFORE anything alerted me! The morning started on the "left foot" despite my attempts for it to run smoothly. First thing I noticed was cable & phone service was out ; my coffee pot needed "encouragement" to get it to work; Redstorm (had spent last night with a friend after volleyball games) called asking permission for that friend to spend the afternoon with us AND we're pulling into the parking lot for track camp for the Princess...and I forgot the sunscreen! Ended up paying $13.00 at the local grocery store for a can! HOPEFULLY the rest of the day will run smoothly....

New one for the day (and don't ask to many complicated questions ...at least until this afternoon ):

Not a good sign...DGD just came running in...equipment malfunction out at the pool Later.........

Settling down a little ; Redstorm and her friend are taking a well deserved NAP ... the coaches have been putting them through "brutal" workouts. Like...
"how do they expect us to ANYTHING tomorrow after what they're putting us through today" so we have a little "quiet time" for now. All I do is smile and say, "Welcome to the big time of HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS in Texas"! Jeff...it's June in Texas...we need sunscreen on CLOUDY days , especially the Princess. Her freckles are already making their "summertime appearance". That silly coffee pot is temperamental and needs to be replaced. At least I could have stopped at the local coffee shop had I not been successful!
