Allie and Katie's sweet, sweet Cici crossed the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. She was diagnosed on Monday with a very aggressive cancer. This "gentle giant" outlived the life expectations of a Great Dane by 3 years! We never feared for their safety when Cici was around; she once sent a delivery driver back to his truck at record speed when she barked at his knock on the door! Loved that dog!

Thanks...at least they had 5 days to "baby" her. That tumor grew from tennis ball size to football size in about 2 weeks so it was VERY aggressive. She's been moving so slow this past year and she'd already lived 2 years longer than was expected. Still so hard to say goodbye. Poor Kona; hope she's having a better day.
