Got some winter weather today. Mixture of snow and sleet then turned to rain. . It was a slow ride to work.

We're going to have that tomorrow night for the playoff football game...not the snow/sleet but the rain and much cooler again. Jeff...you can laugh at me already but it's going to be nasty out there for 3 hours! I'll have to keep telling myself "I'm not Diane...we're not have SNOW AND SLEET already! I am SO dreading it but since it's playoffs now every game could be Katie's last one so not missing it! Hope Friday's commute is easier for you Diane!

Was so eager to get outside and hang lights last night since we have 5 days of predicted rain but went to the Parking Lot Pep Rally before I started! Fun evening and Katie "pulled me out of the crowd" to play a game. All seniors...and "loved ones of their choice" participated in a water balloon throw and catch! I bombed out and missed the FIRST ONE ... little TOOT threw me a curve ball and I didn't come CLOSE to catching it! Thank goodness no one was taking pictures of me!

Seniors finished off the leftover water balloons afterward!

OFF on road trip to football game ..only an hour and a half drive through Houston traffic !

We live on for another week! Played the team that knocked us out of the playoffs in the 3rd round 4 years straight; 1 TD win over them last year after a hard fought, VERY cold/rainy Friday night but the Brahmas took care of business EARLY tonight and never looked back! Literally within the first 10 SECONDS of the game they recovered the kickoff fumble and scored on the next play; final score was 49-7 and the Brahmadoras didn't have to perform in a cold halftime DOWNPOUR! Stopped for dinner before the game at Allie's favorite Mexican restaurant, Guadalajara's, and tried their new dish...(only in Texas ) Fried Chicken Enchildas that were fabulous! GOOD Friday night to start the weekend!

I wish I'd have taken a picture! We brought a plate of regular cheese enchiladas for Katie for after the game but she said she was stealing my leftovers ! Told her nope....had to wait for their next visit to Guadalajora's for her plate but I would let her sample . They were SO good! Two cheese enchiladas, one covered in a sour cream sauce and the other in a very unique cilantro sauce topped with fried chicken pieces. ! Amazingly good! Every chance she gets on her home visits Allie will make a trip to one of these restaurants for her Mexican food fix. IF you ever get to Houston give 'em a try! You'll have a hard time deciding what to try!
