I've been looking at prices and really want to splurge and stay at the Poly but I can rent a 2 bedroom standard DVC at AKL and get park tickets for less. Poly DVC is just not enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. I need a PIN code.

I KNOW...but ya know what Diane...you've waited a LONG time to get back to DW...SPLURGE if there's any possible way! Save a little longer and maybe we can arrange to visit together...Ed said I need to celebrate the pathology report with a BALLOON RIDE! I don't foresee us getting back this year but hopefully by next year we can. I'd love to have you on that ride with me! You liked AKL though...but there's nothing like the Poly...!

Made the mistake of checking my emails before posting a new crop ...48 messages from family members, friends, high school classmates . Decided that may take a few days to answer each one so here's a new crop:

The way prices are going up we're ALL going to need a 2nd job to pay for the increases! I really need to start working on my tee shirt quilts again! Have 3 that I need to do for my cousin that would give me some GOOD money...but damn...just not enough hours in the day! I look at it like this; chances are this might be your last "family vacation" (with the "big bucks" output since you're paying for 4 instead of 2 or 3). Do it RIGHT if it means waiting another year. You risk more price increases then so you have to decide on "2nd best" or your "dream vacation". Get your son graduated from college so HE can "pay his own way"! You may get lucky like we did...he may decide to buy into the DVC club!

Since we live so close never can justify the cost of staying at a deluxe resort (though I would love to). Camping at the Fort is the most I can get the hubby to agree to. Taking the cruise is our big splurge each year, and we book a year out so I can make monthly payments. I have seen on other forums where people use the Disney Savings account to save for their Disney trips and cruises. Not sure exactly what it is, but maybe it's something you might want to look into.

Busy morning ; visit with my primary care's nurse notifying them of my "adventure"...and delivering blood test results...I'm due for another test from them and I told Pam "you are NOT sticking me with a needle again until my regular appointment...I've had enough of needles" ; visit with the local pharmacy for DH's post surgery meds...already have 4 prescriptions for him and he does NOT "take medicine" well ...that's going to be fun getting him to do that!; scheduling my follow up appointment with Dr. Derbes...that was like "pulling teeth" finding a date with all the other appointments already scheduled ; time on the phone with my cousin who had HER colonoscopy this morning...she SO wanted to cancel and I was "talking her through" the waiting period before she was wheeled in and finally a nice visit with a high school classmate about our health...she's currently receiving chemo for blood cancer. Not it's time to "play" ...

Yes, this is from the MK and classified as a "shop"...
