Our kiddos have to go to school Monday...big state testing begins Thursday and Ed, I totally agree...Good Friday SHOULD be a federal holiday!

Our Spring Break is the week before Easter, so that includes Good Friday. I work for a private school, so we also have Monday off. Next year Easter is not until April, so Spring Break will not coincide with it, so school is out for Good Friday, but the public schools can't call it that, instead it labeled as "mini break", really? Everything has to be politically and religiously correct these days.

The schools here have this Friday off for Parent-Teacher conferences. Their spring break is not for another 2 weeks.

I'll be at Disneyland for Easter.

Have we heard from Annie? Didn't she have a second job interview?

Yep...frustrating, isn't it? "Mini break" ...it's GOOD FRIDAY and the Easter weekend...period. DD works for a private pre-K school too but they take the same holidays as the public school system mainly because all the teachers have older children IN the public schools.

Just heard they have installed WiFi at Fort Wilderness!! I might actually take my tablet and see if I can make some time to play. I usually like to "unplug" while camping, but we are suppose to have some rain Thurs and Fri, so I might as well be prepared. Heading to the Fort tomorrow afternoon through Sunday. If I don't get logged on, I wish you all a Happy Easter.

Hope you get to stay in touch! Our Easter weekend MAY be "bumpy" as far as the weather...reports are a little confusing but we'll take what we get. We don't do Sunrise Service and the Thursday, Friday and Sunday services are all INDOORS ...and we've done indone Easter egg hunts many, many times! Happy Easter to you if we don't get to wish it to you later.
