Yes, it is the Contemporary, now tell me what it is part of.

Well my friends, I'm going to have to "put on my big girl panties" down here and get ready for being without my precious Goopy. :sad2: Hopefully it will still be some good times but his little heart is giving out rapidly. He didn't eat again last night, wouldn't even take his heart pill, so I took him in this morning. Didn't help me when, as I parked the car, a couple and the vet technician were bringing out the couple's dog wrapped in a blanket. We all know what that meant. :sad1: I just walked over to the lady and hugged her while they put her pet in the car. :sad1: Goopy has a lot of problems and the bottom line is I have to get ready for the same scene I just witnessed. Maybe a month; he may make it for many months but I was told to prepare myself. :tink:

So sorry to hear about your baby Karolyn. I know it is very tough. Had a cat once that only made it to 2 years old. After 2 abdominal surgeries it was time to let him cross the bridge.

JEFF DUNHAM WAS AWESOME:banana: I didn't think I was going to make it. I was up all night coughing so hard and have so much fluid in my chest I can't breathe. My sides and chest hurt so bad. I called the Dr this morning but they had no appointments until tomorrow morning. I probably shouldn't have gone but I was not going to miss it. Temp was -7 with a wind chill of what felt like -20. We weren't supposed to take pictures but....:rolleyes1

Just got back from the doctor. I have bronchitis that is starting to develop into pneumonia. Have antibiotics and medicine for cough. I have to rest so no work until Wednesday but only if I'm feeling better and my fever is gone. Temps here are stupidly cold. This morning was -13 with a "real feel" of -38.:cold:

I have see quite a few of his Youtube videos and shows on TV. He is very good.

Diane you and your family so need to move to Florida or anyplace warmer. Hope everyone is getting better!!!

YOO HOO...ED...been checking every 30 minutes for that picture...:rolleyes1. :tink:

What is the theme of this marathon? DW sure has a lot of marathons? Two a month?

There are 4 events on each coast. DW has the Marathon Weekend in January, Princess Half Marathon weekend in February, Star Wars Half marathon weekend in April and the Wine and Dine Half Marathon in November.

DL has their Star Wars Half in January. not sure when Tinkerbell Half is, Dumbo Double Dare is in September, also not sure when the Avengers Half is.

He's doing MUCH better today again; good day/bad day but feel like he's improving. I called vet today to tell her he was doing better and she told me she honestly didn't think he'd make it through the weekend. Which...made me happy 'cause it's TUESDAY and from what I can hear, his heart doesn't sound nearly as "stressed" as it did on Saturday. I guess the antibiotics for his infected teeth are doing the trick and the infection is clearing up. When he had his checkup last June, my regular vet told me to start preparing myself since he was at the end of a "healthy" life expectancy. I feel fortunate that he's made it 6 months longer and with DD being the "dog whisperer" and planning for his summer care that he'll be with us then. Sure hope he continues improving and is "out of the woods" by April. DH has FINALLY scheduled his knee replacement surgery for April 11th. After going "back/forth" on the issue for over a year the pain has finally told him to DO IT...and his doctor agrees. Some "fun times" ahead of us :rolleyes1 but I'm going to make sure he gets the pool ready for spring/summer BEFORE he's on crutches :crutches:! :rotfl:

Glad Goopy had a good day today. Good luck with your DH knee replacement. Let me know how it goes. My father needs one but has been putting it off for over a year too. He already had both hips replaced. I guess knees are next.

That was SOOOO worth the wait! I love, love, love, LOVE IT! princess: It is riotous, humorous, comical, fitting, irreproachable, impeccable....P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S :worship::worship::worship:. DH says "different strokes for different folks" :rolleyes1 and if we weren't looking at "unknown out-of-pocket deductibles" on his surgery, I swear we'd hop on the next SW airline flight to Orlando and be there to cheer you on! DH just asked if there was ANYWAY we could go! :rotfl: That's saying something when he's ASKING to go to DW. I love the "caught in the net" touch and whoever put that together did a superb job. I'm just glad it's February or you'd be getting rid of the Ariel hair before the first mile. :sunny: GOOD LUCK! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: :tink:

:thumbsup2 Will do. It's been a hard decision for him; he's so used to being active and some of the things he read gave him a lot of concern. There have been so many advances the past few years though he feels this is the right time. They'll make a "custom made" knee for him; he'll have a cat scan done and they build the new knee "under a microscope". They won't know if he needs partial or full replacement until they "get in" but they'll be prepared for both. If it's partial, he'll be able to come home the evening of the surgery; if it's full, he'll have to stay 2-3 days. The surgery will be in downtown Houston  so DD will have to drive us...I DON'T DO the "spaghetti bowl" of DT Houston but he'll be able to get checkups in Katy and rehab here in Bellville. :yay: If your Dad did okay with the hip replacements, he should do fine with knees. We have a couple friends who have had BOTH done at the same time. o_O Goopy took his antibiotic pill without a problem this morning and inhaled his dinner this evening. His next antibiotic pill is due now but so far today has been really good. :yay: :tink:
