I was in the middle of ordering all new appliances about $5,200 worth for my mom’s kitchen Reno. I am putting all on my visa so I get the points. And my banked called and said my visa has been compromised and they cancelled it. my name came up in some card reading scam the police uncovered. But luckily no charges have been put onto my visa but now I have to wait until the new card comes in the mail before I can finish ordering all her stuff. And since I have a lot of places that have pre authorizing on my visa I have to call them all up and changed the number. Its just a damn pain in the ***. I know it could have been worse but my bank said if I find any odd charges they will reimburse me for all of them

That stinks. Glad no charges were put on your card. The same thing happened to me a few years ago. It's a huge pain.

VERY nice "girls day out" and returned just in time for the high school soccer game. GOOD game, ending in 2-2 tie; not District competition so no penalty kicks to determine the winner. SO good seeing 75% of the Redstorm team on the field together again; our Redstorm included...not playing but working the sidelines.

Oh Jeff...what a HUGE pain in the ***! Thank goodness though it was discovered before your card had tons of new charges. I think we've all been in the position and it's infuriating! A few years ago, youngest DD had her tax refund stolen. Talk about a NIGHTMARE! It "only" took 10 months to get straightened out. So sorry you're having to deal with all the consequences...why the hell can't people just leave us alone??? The drunk driver that hit our mailbox and damaged our property was indited for his "3 and/or more drunk driving tickets" which means he SHOULD have to reimburse us for all our expenses...eventually. But...it's already been 6 months and he's only gone before the Grand Jury. Now we wait for a court hearing. I feel your pain Jeff....

Wow that's a long time to have to wait to get your tax refund to get straightened out. I would be in trouble, we use ours to pay our property taxes. We always have our refund direct deposited to our bank account. Hopefully you wont have to wait too long to get reimbursed for your damages.
