I'm really not complaining but this is just wrong for Christmas Eve.This was the temp on my way home from work.

Great evening though; Redstorm talked soccer all evening with one of the young men from Africa; our little "star" was recognized in church by several people and received a thumbs up on her 34th St. performance; great-nephews loved, loved, LOVED the autographed Tinkerbell picture...the oldest one jumped up/down and ran around the house telling EVERYONE "I got Pixie Dust from TINKERBELL" 
; nephew and his wife stopped by the house on the way back to the Woodlands to see our lights and my Snow Village...had a very nice, QUIET visit...and now it's time to greet SANTA so I can get to bed and rest up for the big day tomorrow.
At least y'all can pretend there is snow
We're pretending...told DH before he went to bed to put the AC on 65 when he woke up in the morning. I'M GONNA MAKE IT COOL FOR CHRISTMAS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!

AWESOME morning...AC turned down to 68 and it "felt" like Christmas. Food coma after lunch and time for an afternoon of rest. Youngest DD surprised me with a 2015 Limited Edition Osborne Lights pin that she found on Ebay...told her I should kick her bu** 'cause I looked at those and know what she paid for it...but I LOVE IT! Pretty awesome addition to our collection! 
Redstorm LOVED the Morgan official game jersey (USA soccer team) I found for her and the Princess couldn't wait to get home to play with her American Girl doll "stuff". Hope Santa was good to all of you too!

... and DH is sitting here laughing...he's reading the weather forecast for Dalhart...BLIZZARD WARNINGS for 6 PM Saturday - 6 PM Monday with a wind chill of -10 ...that's the storm headed in our direction. It will, hopefully, loose some of it's "punch" before it gets here but DH's sister/brother-in-law HAD plans to return to Colorado via that area. He's STRONGLY SUGGESTED they postpone returning for a few days. 
Meanwhile...on the southern tip of Texas in Brownsville the predicted highs during that time are in the mid-90's!

I can't believe they are doing away with the lights. I was looking at pictures I took of my tree and noticed my new Olaf ornament is missing the drink glass.
Did everyone watch the Disney parade this morning? I wish they sang more Christmas songs and showed more of the parade and parks. My daughter gave me a huge stuffed Mickey.
