Heading to Fort Wilderness for the week tomorrow. Will miss playing, but we like to "unplug" while we are camping. Will catch up with you guys when we return.

:yay: Hope you get some pictures of any decorated campsites! :yay: Safe travels and have fun! :tink:

Cover Story or The Dark Room?

LA Prop Cinema?

Worth the trip! Stocked up on paper goods for next Christmas and even got around 10 gifts! :santa: Can't pass up Yankee Candles when they have their large candles on sale for $15...marked nieces and a couple of friends "off the list" already for 2016! :goodvibes

...and Diane figured out the shop. This Santa is greeting guest as soon as they enter the gates of HS on The Darkroom sign! :dance3:

Holy cow...massive tornado in Dallas area this evening. Thank God my niece is here with us but her boyfriend and his son are in the area. He's a police officer and told her it's pretty bad. Just saw on Facebook 6 people killed...the winds blew cars off an overpass onto the highway below :scared1: ... and there are a LOT of overpasses in Dallas! The system is not suppose to get here until mid-morning tomorrow but we're already having pretty strong wind gusts and off/on showers. May be a long evening ahead....:tink:

:crazy: This is "one for the books" :crazy:...around Abilene there is SNOW mixed with TORNADOS! I have never in my life heard of that! :faint: :tink:

:eek::eek::eek: That's scary.

I've been watching Dallas TV stations online and it's bad...some of the cars were blown off the overpass 100 yards...completely unrecognizable piles of rubble. :sad2: The Sun Bowl was played in El Paso...they're expecting 6-8" of snow tonight. It's not that uncommon to have snow in that area, as well as the Panhandle but the blizzard conditions ARE a little unusual. That's what's causing all the bad weather...that cool air meeting the hot, humid air that's been over the State the past few days. The governor has already called up the State Emergency Task Force to be dispatched to the Dallas area as well as the Panhandle area because of the blizzard conditions. To say I'm a little nervous about the next 12-24 hours is an understatement :scared1: but we'll just be watchful and hope for the best.

They go crazy with the Christmas decorations in the fort. Been there before during this time. You will love it. Have fun.

Tony's and the photo pass place?

I have not had the TV on the news channels at all tonight. Guess I need to.

Not much on live TV unless you go to the Dallas stations and check on videos....but then, there's never much LIVE reporting from Texas! :rolleyes1 I'm hoping Weather Channel eventually goes live; hopefully as morning gets closer they will so can get an idea on what might be coming our way. DH has his phone by the bed and it will start "going off" if there are any alerts plus the NOAA radio can "wake the dead" when it goes off! :rotfl: There's not much we could do other than get in the bathroom though...very few storm cellars in our part of the country. No severe alerts so we're hoping for the best...just wish DH would have brought my tropical plants in the garage tonight. :thumbsup2 Don't really want to be out in "shorts and the heavy jacket" :rolleyes: tomorrow in the cold north wind AND the rain! :rotfl2: :tink:
