i'm back! Been busy. I've actually dropped in a few times lately but just couldn't put in the proper effort. I have a few minutes now, so let's see if I can take a guess or two at the open puzzles and maybe get one of my own up.

Missed you. Been putting up your Christmas decorations? Busy here too; about 2 weeks behind in getting ready for Dec. 25th! Glad to have some help on the puzzles!

I've been trying. Most of it is up. I secretly aspire to be the crazy christmas guy in our neighborhood, but I've got a lot of catching up to do because their are some houses around here putting me to shame! A lot of the outdoor stuff went up and just yesterday we broke out the indoor boxes to trim the tree and around the house. It's been hard to find time to dedicate to troubleshooting some of these lights. DD had a dance recital this past sunday, so alot of the days leading up to that were preparation/cleaning days. I used to get a lot of time to myself late at night... but lately I've been so tired.

I'll give Germany a guess.

DGD's have their recital this Saturday. Sure is a lot of work for parents/grandparents as well, isn't it? Youngest DGD did her pictures early last Saturday before they needed to be off to Houston for a cheerleading competition so Mimi was responsible for the 9 year old; 2 different costumes~2 different times and I'm getting to old for that much energy! Anxious to see your decorations; we've had lots of traffic by our house so I guess friends/neighbors are enjoying ours. Go for being the "crazy Christmas guy" in the neighborhood ; my neighbors call us "The Griswolds" of the neighborhood! I actually "cut back" about 5,000 lights this year...we lost one of our trees to the drought! Good luck!

DW handled DD and her costume that day. I am no good when it comes to doing hair and so I am not allowed to do it when it matters. I can only put her hair in a pony tail for school. (I will try pig tails on occasion but DD hasn't asked for them in a while)

I should have paid attention to the weather. Pretty gusty winds tonight and some of my lights are taking a beating. I did manage to get one more thing fixed tonight.

Mine is in EPCOT.

Yours... is still baffling me. Maybe I am overthinking it. I thought it was a headlight at first, but when I look at it closer it doesn't really appear to be...

Okay. I just had a thought and then googled it to see... and I had the right answer, but the wrong part. Doing a *face palm*. I know what it is now.

I'll let it be for a while and see if anyone else wants to try to figure it out.


As far as DD's hair. I don't do it well, even the pony tail. My fingers are too big for the darn hair bands. I can't get that last twist and pull through. So whatever I do comes undone after a while. My hair repertoire is:
1. Pony tail with 2 bands, one high, one low
2. Pony tail with one high band, hair only pulled through halfway for that poofy look
3. Pony tail with one low band, and a head band for the top.
4. Pig tails (no guarantee the part will be straight.) all hair up in the tails.
5. Pig tails only on top and the back hangs loose. (this was cute when she was very little, but it seems weird now)
