Nope, not Beauty and the Beast.![]()
Fantasmic? Little Mermaid?
not Fantasmic or Little Mermaid.
Pooh! I'll bet she looked nice...I always chuckle a little at "dress up" occasions. As parents/grandparents of athletes, we "know" them to live in sports attire
. It's gotten to the point (since she's been growing so fast
) that DD has to buy a new DRESS for Redstorm when a "formal" event is on the calendar. All we know is jogging shorts; sports bras; jersey like tops; running shoes~volleyball shoes~soccer shoes~basketball shoes~shoes for the tennis court...and stinky, stinky socks and athletic bags~
. But then they shower, curl their hair, put actual SHOES on (without cleats
) and they turn into young ladies.
I grab the camera if, for nothing else, to "register" that yes...Redstorm DOES "clean up nicely".
Ahhh...that "conditioning" training
not a favorite of Redstorm's but oh so necessary. She's lucky to have an indoor track available! Restorm jumped right into basketball ... first game tonight already
; at least none are scheduled while we're gone...she was "sweating that out"!

Only wears athletic shorts. No shoes only flip flops or sneakers. Her running sneakers and softball cleats and the socks OMG the smell.

Your DGD is exactly like my DD. No dresses only for the formal events. She lives in sweat pants and t shirts and sweatshirts. Once in awhile she will wear jeans and a nice top and look like a girl.Only wears athletic shorts. No shoes only flip flops or sneakers. Her running sneakers and softball cleats and the socks OMG the smell.
Here she is with her award.

..and she wore a dress to the wedding (love your sons red shirt too)!
I LOVE her hair; Redstorm was saying Sunday she wanted to let her hair grow long again! NICE award...she should be SO proud...tell her WE are! DD doesn't even allow the soccer bag in the house anymore!
Even after multiple machine washings, she can NOT get that smell out!
I tripped over her flip-flops 3 times last weekend
and we had to make a special stop at her house to get clothes for church...all she brought was flip flops, athletic shorts and her volleyball shirt.
Congratulations again to Stephanie ... MVP Award is pretty special.
Street Performers?
Think some more...not the Street Performers.

OH MY...just saw on Facebook that a drunk man climbed the Mexico Pavilion.

That was my first thought...drinking around the world!
I'm sure yesterday was pretty stressful
...I know what's it's like traveling with family
/and or friends and remember the plane rides with 2 year olds!
About this time, he deserves to "drink around the world"!
