I KNOW! But...it takes me about 6 weeks and I want it up BEFORE we go to DW. The week we'll be gone is normally the week I work on outdoor decorations so I'll be a week behind with that. I need to have the majority of my indoor decorations done before the trip or I'll be WAY behind. Plus...this year, in addition to all the other December activities, we'll add the Unity Theater performances "starring" our little Princess to attend. They're Friday~Saturday~Sunday performances the first 3 WEEKENDS in December. We won't be going to them all but I'll have to "take over" some of them while DD and son-in-law go with Redstorm to HER weekend activities. Busy~busy~busy...

Cross country meet this morning was nice; last week Redstorm came in 21st out of 102 entrants and today she was 11th out of 43...she cut about 20 seconds off her time over last weeks. Pretty day though...only 73 when they ran and the meet was around Lake Sommerville which is a "pretty run". Soccer this afternoon but youngest DD just took the Princess to the movies and then her house for this afternoon so it's "village time" for me (without "assistance" ).

DD had a cross country meet this morning too. This weeks time was over 2 minutes faster than last week's time.

DD had a cross country meet this morning too. This weeks time was over 2 minutes faster than last week's time.

Good for her! That's quite an improvement! Redstorm's league soccer play actually went better this week too ...they finally WON a game! (Season hasn't been going well; the League has refused to change games and 75% of Redstorm's team either have cross country or volleyball on Saturdays...they've had to forfeit more than 1 game. !)

Glad your DG won a game. That's too bad about all the conflicts. Diane that's great about your DD's time. Sounds like she is having a good season.

She's starting to pick it up a bit, finally. Her knees have been slowing her up a bit but still the best runner for the school. Dr says it's due to growing. In middle school she rolled her ankle during a meet and sometimes it bothers her if she steps wrong or something. A few weeks ago she stepped in a hole during a meet and it's been bothering her. So this was her running today with her knee braces and ankle brace on. I keep telling her I'm going to wrap her in bubble wrap.

DD is NOT happy...she gave the league the school schedule BEFORE they scheduled the games and they completely ignored it. But..."we're the outsiders" ...all other teams are Houston area so it was pretty much expected.
