AK or HS?
I was in my yard today moving a sprinkler, like I do all day….. and a pretty big black bear ran from behind my barn into the road. He stopped to poop and then ran off into the woods across the street.
I'll bet you'll be seeing a lot of wildlife trying to get away from the flames!

At least he didn't bother you. Didn't he head toward the fire? He may head back your way.

The bear was moving down out of the mountains toward water which makes sense. I feel so bad for the wildlife around here! There are fires all over WA but, the people working on them are so organized! I'm still on level 2 this morning but, they reopened the "highway"
Glad the highway is back open too...that's encouraging!

Those poor animals are all so displaced and in fear. I'd be willing to bet that won't be the last bear you see!

; volleyball for Redstorm starts Labor Day weekend with a tournament AND 1st cross country meet. 
Summer is officially over ... fall sports season set to begin ...and I can't wait! 
No softball this weekend? Redstorm started soccer with the CRUSH team; 1st tournament...lost first 2 and won the game this morning but out of the final round. Coach wasn't expecting much...just wanted to get them out there before the season starts. They only had a couple of practices together; team is based in Sugarland and coach works with the girls from that area while son-in-law works with the girls from Bellville with a combined practice on Thursday's. School starts tomorrow with first football game this Friday night

Ready for a routine again but not sure if I'm ready for the busy schedule.

One last crop "for the summer"
Maybe I'm calm enough to play a crop now. It gets a little boring just being packed and ready to go at any moment. The fire is still there but they are doing a great job of not letting it cross the "highway". They really know what they are doing!

; sounds like the firemen are doing an awesome job though. It's just impossible to believer that fire has been burning as long as it has and still has fuel to KEEP burning!

It doesn't look familiar but my first thought was One Man's Dream. Is it a ticket booth?
We are all still packed and ready to go. If anyone dropped a cigarette over here on this side of the river, we'd have a problem. There won't be anyone to come help us fight another fire. So, I"m glad I'm just bored!
