this weekend was another hot on for us mid 90's its been going on for about 3 weekend now, long hot summer we are having i love it but some times it can be too hot for James

Welcome to our world! Seriously...Denise has actually been hotter than we have in Texas on some days! It's been pretty "warm" here though the past couple days...mid-90's for highs but that afternoon visit to the pool sure feels good! Get the water sprinkler out...kiddos love running through the water! Or wash your car and squirt him ... at least your doors won't freeze shut!

I woulld gladly take your weather for a few days or weeks. It's been in the 70's most of the summer and the nights have been in the 50's and a few in the 40's. Pretty crappy summer. Yesterday was nice it think it may have hit 80. Pool still cold it was 72 yesterday.

That's perfect weather for us! But that pool water is still pretty darn cold! We haven't had a bad summer though; as long as the temps stay in the 90's it's not bad. There have been a few days with high humidity that have been miserable but then I think back a couple years when we reached 100+ EVERY day and a lot of our state was on fire and I'm not going to complain!

but next year we re going to get a little portable AC for up stairs where the bedrooms are
