Inside or outside? Old or new?

Graduation is tomorrow. I'm going to cry through the whole thing. It is supposed to rain, if it does it will be inside. Been a busy week. Senior stuff plus a softball tournament. Had a game yesterday we were supposed to have two games tonight but the first one got rained out and we played the second one at 8:00 it was fun under the lights DD pitched and we won 25-1. got home at 11. Had to wash her uniform have to make up the game from today that got rained out tomorrow night at 8. Hopefully we can get everyone out by then.

Lightning strikes are scary. A long time ago a telephone pole got hit near where we were and it is extremely LOUD.

This trip will be like the surprise one...EVERYTHING last minute! They won't get their schedules for a couple of weeks yet so we can do almost NO planning. DD scheduled Restorms birthday dinner at Teppan Edo at 8 on the 16th hoping we'll be able to make it. I SO wish you were planning a "graduation trip" . Hoping it doesn't rain; we had "close calls" with both DD's so I know what you're going through. The "inside" ceremony just isn't as much fun! Hang in there; enjoy EVERY minute, even if it's through the tears! I don't envy you getting that softball uniform washed this late either. I remember being up until 3 AM TREATING/washing/drying/IRONING DD's drum major uniform! I think I had to run that sucker through 3 cycles before it came out clean. Friday night football game was delayed due to heavy rain/LIGHTING/strong winds so it was later than normal before we got home. Needless to say the field/sidelines were MUDDY. It's not easy getting mud stains out of a WHITE skirt! And those white boots... I was super stressed then; now I just look back at those memories and smile. They had UIL Marching Contest the next day!

Uniform is washed Brand new uniforms and there is already a small hole in the pants from sliding. Their shirts are white. Won't stay white for long. Her last years uniform got so dirty and it just wouldn't come out, I tried everything but nothing worked. I tried oxyclean and that just turned it a yellow color and it was still dirty. So had to buy a new one this year.

I am now up to doing 4 to 6 miles on the two days a week I get out for marathon training. Next weekend for the longer run I am going to loop around Fort Wilderness. Cough ough...while I am there I will see what is going on and update the progress.


And I will get some inside the mine train pics since I have my fast pass scheduled.

My sister had a tree in her backyard struck last Monday. Lightening hit about a third of the way down, split into 3 sections and there are 3 spots on the ground where it struck. Hope Mom's okay!

Good progress! Not sure how long Heather and family are staying but maybe she'll "join you" for your run around Fort Wilderness!

We're there from June 17th to July 2nd, so I will be there at that time.

Oxiclean didn't even work? If that doesn't work for me I use ERA. I poor it directly on the stain, let it set (sometimes overnight ) and wash. And sometimes I just give up!

NO FAIR! But, if it's like it is here (which I understand) the foot traffic on the muddy football field would create a lot of problems. I understand, just don't like it; SO much easier to get better pictures outside. So sorry....don't let it ruin your day though.

Boy you have had a busy week! How exciting that your son is graduating and your daughter is quite the athlete!!! I'm glad you are enjoy this time with them and hope you are taking lots of pictures!!
