Yes Heather...we've all seen this! :goodvibes It's from a park. :tink:

So, it's not from the AK? Is it from the MK?

DH not doing so well. He is in so much pain. All he does is sit there and moan that it hurts.:worried: He can't get comfortable so he can't sleep. I feel bad because there is nothing I can do for him.

I feel his pain. Went thru thru that about 18 years ago. Doc old me i would be back to work in 3 to 5 days. Took 3 weeks to make sure i was good to go. I have a higher tolerance for pain. They gave me the good stuff and said take 2 every 5 hours for pain. 1 every 8 hours was enough. 2 and i was really loopy.

I have a friend who had the same surgery as your DH, he warned me when I had my tummy tuck last spring that I was going to need to have someone stay w/me for a "while".

I said no, the paperwork said I would be okay in 24-48 hours. I'm tough, I should do better than average! HA! I was OUT of it for 5 days. I had to have someone here for 5 days. It took months for me to get back to normal. :sad2:

So, I can emphasize w/your DH! Hope he has plenty of pills! I did! And they told me to take them as prescribed - not to wait for the pain and then take one.

DH had this surgery twice before the first time 17 years ago on the left side then 2 years after that on the right side. Now the left side is back again. Dr said he couldn't return to normal work duties for 3 months. He has pills not sure how much but he has learned the hard way to take them before he needs them and not wait for the pain.

If he's anything like MY DH, he hasn't learned :rotfl:. A few years ago, after his knee surgery, he busted the stitches BEFORE he left the hospital! Plus, like Ed, the pain pills make him "loopy". I learned to just let him alone; he'd stay in our room with his little bell to ring if he needed me! I'm so sorry; your family have some tough days ahead! Hang in there and sending hugs to you :grouphug:! :tink:
